St. George’s hotels
Most of Grenada’s hotels and resorts are concentrated near its most famous beach, Grand Anse. This is where you will find Grenada’s most famous hotels, such as the impressively luxurious Spice Island Beach Resort, as well as independent restaurants, beach bars and sea-based entertainment such as snorkelling, diving and water-skiing. Grand Anse is also close to Grenada’s beautiful capital, St George’s, which provides further variety to your holiday as well as swift airport transfers.
While most of Grenada’s tourism industry is focused on this area, the beach and its surroundings are relatively untouched; indeed, Grenada in general has avoided any sense of tourism overdevelopment throughout its interior. Grand Anse, and its surrounding sister beaches such as Morne Rouge, are wonderful, expansive stretches of sand juxtaposing wonderfully with the aquamarine tones of the Caribbean Sea.
