Stunning in Santorini

Had a lovely stay, rooms were big and spacious. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Meals were very good, views and sunset stunning. Would highly recommend. Area around pool beautful with loungers, umbrellas etc. May not suit young children as pool very deep and cold.

THE WORST HOTEL IN ALL OF SANTORINI - DO NOT BOOK! SCAM!

This hotel tops ALL for the BIGGEST SCAM of all time. I thought I had booked a honeymoon suite and an additional room with TWO full beds. When we arrived, the man who greeted us at the entrance, was also the front desk person, the bellman, housekeeping, etc. It was as if no one worked there. No one helped us move our luggage to our room (not a 4-star experience - more like zero stars), and we were saddened to see how disgusting the rooms were. The room that was suppose to have 2 beds had 1 queen bed and apparently, there are ZERO rooms with multiple beds. How could we have booked a room with 2 beds and this doesn't exist?!?!?! The honeymoon suite had NO view. Mold and rusty tiling in the bathroom, dirty sinks, old furniture, cramped rooms, you name it, it was there. Absolutely awful.

ZERO Star Hotel - Don't be fooled - XENONES FILOTERA is not as advertised!vertised

The Xenones Filotera hotel is a ZERO star hotel and at best a 1 star hotel. This hotel claimed to be 4 Stars - don't be fooled. When we booked with our travel agent, it was advertised we were getting the honeymoon suite and an additional room with TWO full beds for our adult children. When we arrived, we knew immediately knew this was NOT a 4 Star hotel when the same man who checked us in was in fact acting in every roll for the hotel - he was the bell hop, concierge, reception and housekeeping. Also, he kept selling us rental car, excursions, bikes etc when we wanted to go to our rooms. In fact, we rolled our luggage ourselves because he was doing "other" things. When we got to the two rooms, there was NO "honeymoon suite" - they were identical rooms with " NO 4 star amenities". Then we asked where is the second full size bed in the additional room - well there was not an additional bed. (posted below is the black sofa/cot that is the second Bed in the entrance which doesn't fit an adult!) - The gentleman said there isn't a second bed - it's the couch! What was the most disgusting was there was RUST in both rooms' bathroom sinks and showers as depicted in the posted pictures. I immediately told the family we are leaving and gave back the keys and called our my travel agent who fortunately found us another hotel which was 5 star and upgraded us to a villa with no extra charge. We advised the "receptionist" man we were leaving immediately and left the keys within an hour of our check in. We were booked and PREPAID for 4 days from Aug 29 to Sept 2, 2024 at the cost of $3927.66 and still haven't received a refund. The hotel is NOT what is advertised and BEDSONLINE should not advertise this facility as a 4 star hotel. DON'T be fooled by the rating - the service and hotel are beyond dismal.

I would stay here again. The only thing lacking is adequate closets and drawers. Luckily there was a twin bed in our suite and we used that to keep our suitcases on. I couldn't really unpack. There is an iron and some hanging space, but not enough. The hotel is a tad noisy in the mornings but livable. The staff however, is very, very good. Breakfast was great! Dinner? Meh. I'd eat elsewhere. The views!!! Breathtaking, you can't ask for better. There is also a great path to take you into the village (15-30 minutes depending on how good a walker you are) or if you're brave enough, to take you into OIA (2 hrs).

Wonderful hotel with breathtaking views over the sea. Our room was on the lower floor underneath the swimming pool but was well equipped with a hot tub outside next to the front door. Breakfast was always very good with plenty of variety. Daytime menu was very good including lovely fresh salads and pizza. Evening meals were hit and miss, some nights very good and others the quality and availability of certain items were disappointing. Finally the bed in our room was mounted on a concrete plinth which made jumping in and out of it slightly hazardous as we are not as agile as we once were.
