Wapa di Ume Ubud

We stayed at Wapa di Ume Ubud from April 10th to 17th, and honestly, it was the best place we’ve ever been to. The experience was beyond incredible from start to finish. The staff were simply outstanding — they couldn’t do enough for us and always went out of their way to make us feel special. We received thoughtful messages via WhatsApp throughout our stay, and it really made everything feel personal. A huge thank you to Arık, Lasmini, and Komang who truly made our stay unforgettable. We took part in the cooking class, which started with a morning trip to the local market to buy fresh ingredients — even though the hotel had everything ready, Lasmini wanted us to enjoy the authentic experience. She even introduced us to fruits we’d never tried before! It was such a thoughtful and unique touch. During the BBQ evening, we were lucky enough to win a floating breakfast, which was such a special experience. The food throughout our stay was exceptional — every dish was a delight and full of flavor. We dined at the hotel’s restaurant most nights and were never disappointed. The staff knew us by name, joked with us, and made us feel genuinely cared for. When we left, they even gave us parting gifts — such a beautiful and touching gesture. We also had a heavenly spa experience with Suti Chanda and Sukreni — both were incredibly skilled and left us feeling totally relaxed and pampered. Our private pool villa truly felt like paradise. It was peaceful, luxurious, and the perfect place to unwind. This resort exceeded all expectations — a heartfelt thank you to everyone at Wapa di Ume Ubud. We will absolutely be back!

We had an incredible experience at Wapa di Ume in Ubud. The accommodation was spacious and luxurious, with stunning views overlooking the jungle. The infinity pool also faces the jungle, which made for the most relaxing swims. The activities offered, like yoga sessions and massages, were excellent and added so much to our overall experience. We especially loved the fruit plate and coffee provided which were fresh and delicious every time! What really made our stay special was the staff. They were kind, helpful, and offered outstanding service. They made everything easy for us, from booking taxis to organised scooters. Their warm hospitality really stood out. Even though the food was a little bland for our taste, they still offer some traditional Balinese food which is catered to international families. Still, this is a lovely resort that I would recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful and rejuvenating escape in Bali. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

Our stay at the property was nothing less than exceptional, clean pools 3 of them, amazing, enthusiastic and courteous staff, always welcoming with the broad smile on their faces, its one of the oldest heritage property of Ubud with eco friendly stuff and huge initiatives towards the sustainability which actually means a lot for the resort folks, amazing rice fields and plantations inside the property. 1000 starts for this amazing staff and property

We had the most amazing time at Wape Di Ume. The room was beautiful, the staff very thoughtful and kind. Our every need was taken care of before we even knew we needed it. We did two excursions through the hotel which were fantastic. The hotel also runs a shuttle into the centre for free if you fancy shopping in the markets. We particularly loved the Balinese BBQ night that the hotel runs once a week with traditional food and dancing. They also offer Yoga and have many other activities should you wish. We would highly recommend anyone visiting Ubud to stay here. 11/10

I loved everything about this hotel, the people, the surroundings, the food… so happy to have spend here my 9 days in Ubud. In Ubud there is so much to do, it is really a delight to arrive home to this hotel, so calming, full of nature. You are my Balinese family and I will miss you!
