I just returned from this resort and had an amazing time. I stayed here with my wife & 6 year old daughter. I will try and write the review in sections as there is so much to detail! Room: We stayed in a bungalow near reception towards the back of the resort, probably the furthest point away from the main areas of the resort. As the resort isn’t massive this was not a problem, everywhere is within a 5- 10 minute walking distance. We liked our position on the resort as it was extremely quiet. The rooms themselves are nice enough. A little dated and not entirely aesthetically pleasing but it was fine. There was no wow factor to the room but the wow factors definitely come elsewhere… Service: The reason why this hotel is amazing is certainly due to its service. You get 3 x WhatsApp assistants who throughout the holiday would help assist with any needs. We tend to work out things ourselves so didn’t feel we really needed an assistant but it was a nice touch. My suggestion would be for the assistants to be a little less overbearing. We would get a message prompt from them morning and afternoon. The assistants would also find you on the resort and ask if anything is needed. We found it a little too much especially as we never really needed anything (I am sure others may like this though). You never go without during your stay. A waiter will always ensure you have a drink. It was rare for us to have to wait for drinks at dinner or breakfast even during their busiest times. Drinks round the pool and at the sunbed are free flowing. You can order via a QR code direct to your sunbed and the service is quick! Most days we would be at the activity pool and were served by Ali Dursun. Ali is a credit to the hotel, he worked tirelessly all day. Even when the pool side temperature was 50 degrees he never stopped. He would always go above and beyond. If it was a warm day he would do little things like handing out water or bringing fresh fruit to people. He made my daughter feel extra special and really deserved a mention. Service in other areas was still very good also. One service blemish was the cleanliness of the room. We found most days the cleaners did a light job and we had an ant issue throughout our stay which the hotel quickly rectified when I notified them. Food & Drink The food was very high quality. There is a main buffet which had enough variety, maybe more geared to Turkish than UK (this was fine for us, we loved the cuisine). One area of the main buffet that did lack was variety of deserts at dinner time, there wasn’t a big section on offer and the deserts regularly remained the same most nights. Maybe having a crepe station or a chocolate fountain to add a bit more variety would help. I would recommend cuisine24 though if you want a sit down meal away from the buffet. There was a nice terrace to eat dinner on here and lots of food options, we preferred this. There are a number of a la cartes on the resort which are just amazing. They require a cover charge per head (kids eat free exc Teppanyaki), the cover charge is 7- 25 euro per person and is totally worth it in my opinion. My personal favourite was the Turkish restaurant… the food was just amazing here. For 14 euros we got a feast that I am sure here the meal would have cost us over £100 at an equivalent restaurant of similar quality. We also enjoyed the teppanyaki experience and it was lovely food. There was also a chocolatier on the resort that made nice chocolates of different varieties. These were delicious. There is also a patisserie and again the cakes here were very nice. My personal favourite was the New York style cheesecake with chocolate sauce. Food is basically on tap here at the resort. You won’t go hungry and it’s all quality food. The drinks were also high quality. If you like a cocktail, then you get so much variety and it’s a premium quality alcohol. The coffees are very good also (this is always important for me). The iced latte was a let down but a good americano & Irish coffee made up for it. You really won’t be disappointed with the food & drink. Overall it’s one of the best I have ever experienced for food & drink. Amenities & Entertainment There are many things to do on the resort for both kids and adults. The kids club was really good, my daughter loved going in. As the resort didn’t have a large English demographic, my daughter did struggle to make some holiday friends. She enjoyed it nonetheless and loved the workers. There was also a mini fun fair on site which my daughter really enjoyed. There is a games room which had a bowling alley, pool tables, arcade machines and game consoles such as PS5s. These were all free to use. For adults, there were things such as darts, archery, bowls, water polo, fitness classes etc. All really good fun. I regularly used the gym, it’s not massive but had enough equipment for a light gym goer and it was never too busy. There was also 2 piers with ultra comfy sunbeds, one pier is for adults only which we used regularly when my daughter went to kids club it was very nice here. We went at peak season and there are always sunbeds available across the resort, I have been to resorts where you have to be awake at 7am to get a spot or a semi decent one, not here and you can really enjoy a lay in due to this… There were also entertainment shows throughout the stay on at 9.15pm. These shows were high quality and by far the best we have seen on a resort outside of the Caribbean. Overall the hotel is deserving of a 5 star review due to the sheer quality of service, food & entertainment. Areas of improvement definitely needing with the cleanliness of the rooms & perhaps even updating the rooms to being more aesthetically pleasing. You don’t quite get a instagram glam factor you might hope for at this price range but outside of this it’s hard to fault the resort and we really enjoyed our stay.
