Viva Tourismo Resort Naturist Club

It is heartbreaking to write a very negative review of this resort because the owners / managers are VERY nice and they work VERY hard. We had booked a non-refundable four night stay and booked a round trip flight from Athens for this visit but we had to leave after one night at the resort because we could not escape the smell of cigarettes and often cigarette smoke. Not only was this unpleasant for non-smokers but my wife has asthma and we had to move repeatedly throughout the parts of two days to escape smoke. Our room did not seem to have been smoked in but the smell or smoke was everywhere else. The hallway, office and dinning room reeked of old smoke and staff and guests smoked in the dinning room. We tried to enjoy our private balcony but it reeked from an ashtray of old cigarette butts on the adjacent balcony. We tried to enjoy a shaded area on the pool deck but two guests on the other side of the pool smoked continuously and there was nowhere on the deck that wasn't downwind from them. There was a stack of about twenty ash trays out by the pool deck. We wrote off our non-refundable reservation payment and went to Rhodes town. The resort's website is misleading. The gallery has pictures of people nude on a mostly sandy beach (at least where the people are) and a couple of pictures not in the gallery seem to be stock pictures on clean white sand that don't seem to have been taken at this beach. But mostly, the gate to the beach was LOCKED and there was a sign saying that "Naturism is Forbidden" on the beach. See the pics with this review. Our room was spotless and the food was excellent and FRESH. Nicko is developing an amazing on-site sustaining agricultural enterprise to supply the hotel and his wife prepared three wonderful meals for us. We have never had food so fresh. The pool deck area is as shown in the Resort's web site with lots of loungers and tables and opportunities to be in the sun or in the shade. The pool was cold but we knew the climate when we booked and can't fault the resort. But the hot tub wasn't on and that was a disappointment. The night we were there the sunset was amazing and the sea view from the resort deck is beautiful. Up close, the beach up and down from the resort is covered with rocks and dirty. Bring shoes if you want to walk the beach. The room is small and desperately needs more surfaces to put things on, especially in the bathroom. The shower was tiny and it flooded the bathroom floor so you have to work around that. You don't come to a place like this to spend a lot of time in the room and the bed was comfortable. If you are a smoker you will like this place. If smoke bothers you then stay away. To be fair, this seems to apply to much of Greece but the smoke at the property caused us to leave.

Went for a one day visit by kind permission of nick after making a phone call to him. Naturism is new to us, previously experienced a nudist beach which was OK. But wanted something a bit more private. We called nick and arranged a day visit which he very kindly agreed to. Upon arrival we were greeted warmly by staff. We then got shown to the pool area where we arranged our loungers to be sun facing at the beautiful poolside. Bar Staff were attentive, the sun was roasting and the atmosphere very chilled and relaxed. We struck up a friendship beside the couple next to us. We had drinks delivered to us, toilets were clean and close by. Pool was fresh water and Crystal clear. We took a wander down to the private beach had an amazing naked swim in the sea which felt so natural and liberating. We returned to our sun loungers and spent the afternoon sunning ourselves, chatting and being waited on - which was bliss. In the evening we had a beautiful beach sunset followed by a delicious home cooked meal. We give 10 out of 10 for this resort. For anyone to enjoy and experience. Well done Nick & Helena for creating such a beautiful, amazing place. Will hopefully return soon, thanks guys.

This was the best place, what we ever visit! You close the gate from hotel and you are in the diferent world, full of real freedom feeling, amazing home atmosphere, peace and comfort. Everything what you eat and drink there is a homemade and you can feel is prepare with love. Their tzaziki is the best off all on Rhodes, and it's beautifull to watch Helena like she make the best (and really pretty strong) drinks for you. The pool... is... amazing. Really fresh water, without any chemistry, everytime perfectly clear. And the peoples, not only Helena and Nick and their staff, but every peoples, every guests there was pleasant and kind. We met there the beautiful peoples from Greece, Hungary, Spain and a more diferent countries... Every minute there, you feel, like everybody from hotel want to make maximum for you. Once time, we have problem with rent a car, Nick call somewhere, and to one hour, car was at the parking. Next time, in the sea some algae or something else burned my leg and Helena gave me some ointment and the place calmed down after a while. We cannot write everything good feeling from there to this comment, but we can say, we love this place, this beautiful peoples and we hope we can visit this amazing place every year.

Really enjoyed our stay at the Hotel.The owner and staff were lovely and very helpful. The Breakfast was great and the Evening meals were different every night over our 8 days. Great pool area and sun beds,with everything well maintained. Our room was extremely clean and nice bedding. We knew it was under the Airport path so the planes didn’t bother us. The overall price for the facility was really good and would definitely go back again. Very relaxed place to enjoy our sunbathing as Nudists. Well worth visiting several other Naturist beaches only 30 minutes away by car. Great entertainment over 2 nights so overall with the price a very good package.
