Happy enough to book again.

Travelled quite a lot and this was a last minute booking to surprise our daughter and grandkids. Arrived at reception to be pestered to upgrade our room as we had booked an economy room. We declined to pay another 150 euros to upgrade for a week. ROOM We were allocated our room and our bags were carried there for us. We were pleasantly surprised, clean, bright and good enough for us. the balcony overlooked a grassy hill but I was,nt there to sit on a balcony looking out. The room was on the reception level, meters away from the lift and stairs. great for us as we are getting old. No kettle or coffee making facilities but, as seasoned travellers, we took our own anyway. Beds were comfortable enough and we slept soundly. FOOD Edible food but you would,nt put weight on. plenty of choice but, as others have said, not catering for the British. It depends on how fussy you are about food. we did,nt starve. Dining room can be chaos at busy times but you will eventually find a table. The snack bars, especially over the bridge, by the aquapark were very good. POOLS The highlight for us, watching grandkids enjoying the pools and, on occasions joining in. Plenty of sunbeds available around the pools. CLEANLINESS No complaints whatsoever. We have decent standards and my wife never complained once. Its a busy hotel, catering for a lot of people of all nationalities so just expect that when you go. OUT AND ABOUT Its a good 15 minute walk to the nearest shopping area, along the dual carriageway. I don,t go on holiday to shop anyway. ENTERTAINMENT Good and bad really. i was not expecting to see the greatest show but some of the bands/singers were quite good. It depends what you are expecting. OVERALL Would i go again? well, yes. Ive booked for May for ourselves and my other daughter and 2 other grandsons. Looking forwards to it, Maybe a trip out to Big Ben pub for a change and a trip to the Sunday market.

The hotel was okay, pool can be quite cold off season. The coffee bar in reception is very good but are a lot of rude people that budge the que, should be a system. Wifi is very expensive have to pay for each phone. On site shop is extremely over priced. Some areas of hotel aren’t very clean. The hotel does have amazing facilities for kids. Would recommend the slides and beach area. Also the lunch at the beach has the best food.

Such a beautiful hotel, has everything you need, food was really good. We went before it got busy so we didn't have any issues with sun beds or queuing for food or busy pools etc. everything was plain sailing and went very smoothly. The staff are amazing! faultless! Lots to do around the hotel and close by. The weather was stunning and not too hot wither which I've heard later in the year gets too much to bare. I know someone who went in July and they said it was a lot busier and they had to queue for food so maybe chose a quiet time of year to go.

Had a fabulous time. Went for 2 wks and enjoyed it. Only thing letting it down was the pool wasn’t heated and the indoor pool wasn’t open. Food is like everywhere it seems the same but catering for a lot of people means you have to reuse left overs like u do at home. A holiday is what you make it, I’ve been to better hotels but to be honest we really had fun here. There is rude staff and people in any hotel and I take it with a pinch of salt. On the hotel site on Facebook reading some of the comments can be off putting but make your own mind up. One man stated you must be chavy if you like it and believe me I’m far from chavy. My friend and her daughter came in the 2nd wk and we all had a great time. The shop is a rip off.

Money down the drain, AVOID, AVOID, AVOID.

We are into our second week of a two week holiday and can’t wait to leave. On the face of it the hotel looks amazing, well decorated and appears to be clean, you soon realise it’s not! We are staying in a standard room which is fine as long as you can overlook certain things, balcony door won’t lock, key card kept unpairing itself, so a trip down to reception needed (not the best with 3 kids at 12am). I know the hotel can't control other guests but the rudeness and lack of consideration for others is appalling, the worst seemed to be Turkish, closely followed by Russian and Polish, this should not be taken as racist as I’m just stating the facts, they have no idea how to queue for anything, food, lifts, drinks, stairs, the level of inconsideration is mind blowing. The food is ok, good choice but very repetitive same thing day in and day out. Cutlery, plates, glasses are not washed properly. Smoking is allowed pretty much everywhere even where it's not! This is not policed by the hotel at all, lobby corridors even in lifts. We sat outside in the non smoking area, denoted by the absence of ashtrays and while eating someone sits next to you and lights up. I did have words but people just look at you and wave their hands as if you're in the wrong, again it's the same rude people who are the biggest offenders. The amount of food waste some guests left was unbelievable, plates of food hardly touched and then left to be thrown out. I personally witnessed male staff hitting on young girls 12/13 years old, so if you're taking young girls then please keep an eye on them. My 3 kids 12, 14, 15 were bored stiff most of the time, the pools are freezing so there’s not much enjoyment in getting in, and once you have done the slide a few times, you soon get bored. There are no provisions for teenagers at all. The internet is £10 a week per phone and there's 6 of us so £120 I didn't expect to spend. With not much else to do it was a lifeline for us. (Not very good either) The lobby has a decent coffee/shake bar which the kids looked forward to. Plenty of bars around the complex so you'll never run short of drinks/beers. The hotel does have evening entertainment and if you enjoy terrible dancing and school play level of entertainment then there's always that to look forward to. My mother-in-law also had cockroaches in her room 6/7 in total they only stayed 12 days before going home. Don’t waste your money booking this hotel!
