Tusan Beach Resort

Sorry, it's a shocker. The good bit, it has a small but lovely private beach. Now the rest. At best this is a 3 star hotel. The staff are not interested' you have to beg to get service. The food is buffet style for breakfast and dinner at best the poor selection of hot food is tepid. great selection of tomato's and cucumbers if that's your thing. Our room had a sea view and a view over the dining hall roof that was falling apart. The strangest thing however was our king-size bed had a double duvet cover, we spent all night fighting over the cover. There is nothing else near this hotel so you are captive.

Room (Family Room) : spacey, required some renewal, good Wifi connectivity (free of charge), fournitures sometimes heavily used, musty odor/smell, daily cleaning, good job from the roommate's staff, light mold in the dush room/black, bathroom fittings not more in a good state, tea/hot water facilities available, no free minibar Restaurant/Food : good choice, no icecream at lunch or dinner, lukewarm food, plates not heated, waiters/waitresses pay a lot attention and do a good and stress job, no "simmit". Unfortunately, I got a stomach flu maybe due to inadequate temperature of food. Bar/Daily buffets : no fresh fruits, no iced tea, bar always opened, free icecream only in the late afternoon in one of the pool bar. Disco Bar : not open, NO FREE CONSUMPTION (okay if you take in account "international in all rules" but for the 5* Star Hotel in Turkey !!) Guests Relation : available, middle helpful, not rude but not very super friendly Animation : not much offer due to October business, daily night animation (only a few times of quality, most was "home made") Reception : pay attention, little language misinterpretation, if issues : reasonable delays of solving them/sometimes you have to ask twice Ice for drinks weren't not cooled Some waiters put a bit too much alcool in prepared cocktails Some little concerns about food safety (for the first time in Turkey, it was my nineth visit and second in Izmir District) My own case was reported to the Guest Relation Manager (she took note).

This was our 5th time here ( last here in 2021) and I must say they have really stepped up! My last visit the hotel and room were a little neglected, but I was so happy to see that the hotel and rooms were clean and lovely. Positives Staff, all friendly Food, fresh and loads to choose from Room cleaned daily Outside bar has more cocktail options and table Service ( which I never had before when visiting) WIFI was a lot better then my last visit Air con was a life saver Negatives The only thing I noticed ( my own personal issue) is that the shower head was very old and built up with grime , which can’t be helped as it happens every where, was just a shock as the bathroom and room were clean and lovely. The shop which sells drinks and crips etc ( which isn’t controlled by the hotel ) had a lot of soft drink cans out of date ( by a few months ) and the man in the shop didn’t seem to care Over all , a great hotel , lovely area, great for family’s and couples. I will always have love for this hotel !

After reading some reviews I was a little bit skeptical coming to this hotel, however we didn’t pay much money for the holiday so sort of went with the ‘you get what you pay for attitude’ needless to say I was pleasantly surprised! We arrived pretty late into the evening and were able to get some food and our fridge was full of water and soft drinks on our arrival, check in was quick and although we were placed on the top floor, the views out of the room were incredible! Food was absolutely out of this world, something for everyone, even a diet corner!! Which I have never seen at an all inclusive resort ever! As well as the snack bar, offering burgers, chips, pizzas and sandwiches throughout the day. There is never a time where you can’t get food. We were looked after all week by Cuma, who definitely added to our brilliant stay! The pool was also incredible, a lovely cool down when the sun got a bit too much, getting beds wasn’t really an issue at the beginning of the week, however towards the end, got a bit more tricky, but we always got a bed in the spot we wanted which was fab. The entertainment team were super cool! Always trying to include you, however never pushy and accept no for an answer :) The only thing I will say is that the bed isn’t all that comfy! But compared to the other reviews, the only thing I could find to complain about was the bed, so let’s face it, it’s not all that bad! Thanks Tusan for an incredible week!

I had some concerns with some reviews and it being rated 3 star in some like Jet 2 but have been really been surpised at quality big rooms , high quality mattresses and and astounding views , large swimming pool and its own beach . Massive front restaraunt and food 24 7 . More modern than I thought and looked after with a few scuffs here and there. More a 4 star . Well designed well run with friendly staff . I've travelled the world with business and would recommend this to anyone especially for the price .
