Perfect 10 days away

My wife and I have just spent a fantastic 10 day holiday at the TRYP Dassia hotel. From the moment we got here to the moment we checked out everything at the hotel has been perfect, the room the staff and the location has made our holiday a very memorable one. We like to say a massive thank you to all the staff for everything they have done for us and they should be proud of the service they are providing for their customers.

A solid 4* hotel

A really solid 4* hotel in a lovely area of Corfu! I was a bit worried we weren’t staying in a resort, especially with the toddler, but the hotel was really great and the staff amazing. Check in was very smooth. Welcomed with welcome drinks, and the lovely man gave my toddler some colouring pencils which was a lovely touch. They really like kids here! We were on the 4th floor which is the superior floor. The room was very clean, with a dedicated housekeeping lady Ana who stays until late daily, so if you need anything she is always around, and very friendly. The room has a split toilet and shower area (2 seperate rooms) which is a weird layout, but we made it work. The room itself was very clean and had everything you need. The pool area is great, and there are shops right next door to the hotel if you need to buy inflatables and toys etc for the kids. We spent each day by the pool with the toddler. The beach is down the road but seems to be catered for the Ikos resort hotel. The hotel has partnered with the Malibu beach club if you want to use the beach which is a nice touch, but we chose to stay using the hotel pool. We ate lunch on the first day at the hotel, which was ok (and the reason I have given 4 stars and not 5). I think the food offering could be much better. The staff are lovely, but the food was not that impressive. We had breakfast included which had the main things such as toast etc, but not a huge variety. There is however a coffee shop next door where you can order pancakes etc. I also had a massage on one of the days which I loved. The spa was lovely, and I came out feeling very relaxed. Overall this hotel has amazing staff that go above and beyond. A solid 4* hotel and we would be happy to come back if visiting Dassia again!

Not good. Overpriced

This is a small hotel with small rooms. It’s has small beds and small bathrooms. The shower cubicle is small. The air con works well but that’s about it. The pool is not very deep being only 1.25 m deep at the deep end. Just over belly button height on most men. It has no beach. If you want to go to the beach then it costs 30 euro for 2 sun loungers which you must rent for. The hotel on the beach. The room we had faced into the main road and we had a lovely view of bird poo. The breakfast was passable but repetitive. We booked to stay 8 nights but left after 3. Dassia is a god forsaken hell hole. The two big all Inclusive hotels opposite have sucked the life out of the resort. There are about 2 tavernas and a couple shops and that’s about it. Don’t come here.

I’m currently staying in the hotel. What can I say-simply amazing! And I have traveled a lot. The hotel is perfect for a nice relaxing holiday. Beautiful room which was upgraded by the staff. It has everything you need. We were offered complimentary drinks on our arrival. Beautiful gardens. Swimming pool. Lovely spa. Tasty breakfast. Friendly staff. The beach is only few minutes away and it’s beautiful. Very convenient location with plenty of restaurants and shops around. Could not recommend enough and will definitely be back soon. Thank you so much for your hospitality. Just perfect!

The Hotel that makes us want to keep returning. This was our 4th visit to this wonderful hotel, and as always our experience was perfect. Spiros and all his lovely staff are so friendly, and as always the hotel, gardens and pool area are immaculately clean, breakfast plenty of choice, fresh and constantly replenished. Rooms are kept immaculately cleaned, comfortable bed.Nick and myself would like to thank each and everyone of you for as always making our stay wonderful, we can’t wait to return 😊
