Disgusting, dingy, misrepresented, very disappointing

We arrived and the hotel name is Fountain and not Adventura studios. The door to room has a 2” gap to the outdoors. There is a rusted refrigerator upon entrance into the hotel. But there is a working fridge. There is a water filter in the room. I drank bottled water because of the water concerns here. There is a coffee maker, microwave, and small stove but no pans or cookware if that was your plan. The inclusive breakfast is a coin per person per day to be used down the street at a local place Kat’s Corner. The couch is stained and the pleather is ripped. There is a TV but we didn’t use it. Only a one top thin sheet and 1’ wide blanket (I did not type that wrong) that sits at base of bed. Shower Water is warm but pressure is lacking. Faucets were rusted. Make sure you have a tetanus shot before coming. I was singing la cucuracha in my head while singing. Pool was merely cloudy white. Filters were not running and I didn’t see anyone cleaning pool. If you don’t mind rustic and traveling on a shoe string budget to see DR this is fine. If you are looking for cleanliness and comfort, pass on this location. There is music playing into the night because it’s in a small town (it is not on the beach). The music is not loud or banging but it’s definitely audible. The beach is a 5-7 minute walk.

First off, the price stated is not the total price . We paid almost double ! We were told at check in that the credit card machine wasn’t working and we had to pay by cash using the ATM machine !! Which was more in DOP !! The unit , not clean. The mattress was only a few inches thick The fridge was right next to the bed. The bathroom taps/mirror was horrible so grosse !! We also had no water one morning The pool was always dirty . The dishes in the cupboards also not clean . The maid only comes every 2 days and won’t do the dishes You only get two towels. The blanket is literally a sheet The beach front as it states ?? Nope it’s a good 5-10 min walk And guess what, the day club you have to spend 10$ to sit in the lounge chairs or put a 75$ deposit to carry and chair and umbrella to the beach This was a terrible way to start our vacation, we spent three nights here and that was too long 🤦‍♀️ We were so happy to get to our all inclusive resort after this stay One positive note , the free breakfast at Kat’s corner is good , a few options it was delicious As were the other food they have there as well I recommend that restaurant Lastly , customer service on WhatsApp?? Oh ya nope they won’t answer you !!! Nothing still , a week later !! I had inquired as I was upset about the payment how much extra it was no reply Definitely do not recommend staying here !!!

Dodgy Outfit.

If I could give a zero score I would. I arrived a couple of hours before the earliest check-in time. My booking was found and confirmed. I was told the room wasn’t ready. The receptionist advised me to go for a walk for 1.5/2 hours and come back. It was raining hard but I done what was suggested. When I returned a different receptionist was working. She told me there was no room for me as they had overbooked. She phoned someone and found another room in a different hotel. Her whole attitude sucked. She never apologised, was rude and didn’t give a damn. The room she located didn’t appeal to me so I had to find an alternative. It was constantly raining, I was tired because I’d had an early flight, and I was obviously angry. Here is where things get dodgy. So I couldn’t give a bad review on the site I’d used to book the accommodation she/they cancelled the booking and said the reason was due to a debit card error. This is a lie. Also, when checking this place out online, I noticed it was continuously available and then unavailable, then available again. I know people can cancel but through the course of the day it’s literally multiple times. I’ve managed a hostel so I know this is not normal. Avoid.

FIND SOMETHING ELSE!! IT’S NOT GOOD.

Stat Away from this Hotel….It’s not good. They say They are 4 + but is nearly 2. The pictures are fake.Dirty inside and the pool is green because they dont clean it! We run from it the next day…mull in the kitchen and bathroom. Use your mony somewhere else.
