A great experience

This is a great Ritz-Carlton. The rooms are great and pretty quiet, the gym is great, but can get overly crowded and the complex probably needs a second gym, the staff is very very thoughtful and the property has so much to do for everyone. With families, the pool complex next door (free access) at the JW is great with water slides, a lazy river and a water playground. The only area of critique is the casual restaurant on the ground floor of the Ritz. The food is wildly overpriced for the taste and quality delivered. Yes it’s at a resort, but a $30 average-tasting salad with chicken is laughable.

Fantastic stay!

Had a fantastic 5-night stay at the Ritz. Was traveling for work, but tacked on a few extra nights for fun, and so glad I did. The property was lovely, a nature reserve with wild birds everywhere, a lake, a path along the lake. Two large pools, one at Marriott and one at Ritz. Spent a day at the spa, which was absolutely world-class: a standalone building with sauna, steam room, a dedicated (and quiet! adults only) pool, champagne, and super friendly and excellent service. With more time, I would have played pickle ball or golf, or maybe kayaked. Food everywhere was excellent, wine too. I had a standard room, which was nonetheless great: quiet, super comfortable bed, well-appointed. What really made the experience stand out, though, was the service. Almost to a person, staff were incredibly friendly, professional, and went far out of their way to be welcoming and helpful. For example, I stopped by the front desk in search of a band-aid for a blister - the lovely man who helped me tracked down a packet of band-aids, came by to collect the wrappers, and then sent me off with a bottle of water too. Another employee went out of her way (unasked) to accompany me to a conference room to make sure I didn’t get lost. Every room service meal was delivered with superb service: crisp, friendly, beautiful presentation. The folks by the pool were helpful and attentive with umbrellas and the like. The impression was of a well-oiled machine where everyone takes a lot of pride in their work. I can’t imagine how much effort goes into the hiring, the training, the coaching to create such a consistently stellar standard of service. It was top-notch - and the main reason I’d love to return. The one small sour note was at check-out, where N gave me an extraordinarily hard time over a request to split my invoice, one for work and one for personal expenses. I do this routinely as a frequent traveler, and it’s never been an issue; and in the end it took her under a minute to complete. It was a bit jarring after the spectacular service from the rest of the team. And a shame to end the stay on that note. But one brief encounter cannot spoil 5 great days. I will certainly be back! Thank you for the excellent time. Far exceeded expectations in every way. Kudos.

My new favorite Ritz

I’ve stayed at many ritz Carlton’s and this is my new favorite. I don’t have a single bad thing to say about this resort. The club level was perfect, the pools were pristine, and the service was what is expected at a ritz Carlton. It’s also lovely to have so many restaurant options on the property. I didn’t get a chance to use the spa but the gym was clean and spacious and well maintained. There is also a kids club.

Very disappointing visit to the Ritz Carlton Spa. I had been visiting this facility for many years with my last visit 5 years ago. I always found it to be high end, relaxing and treatments top notch. This was not my experience with my most recent visit. The facility feels worn down. Sections have been painted over so many times it feels gloomy, the lighting is not maintained and the hot tub looks ratty. My treatment was rushed, noisy and not personal. I asked to focus on certain areas and the staff member just the same step through massage not addressing my request. There are other high end spas that have opened up at other resorts in Orlando. Try those before coming here.

Lovely stay

First of all I want to say thank you so much for making our stay special and fixing any concerns we had during our stay. The staff went above and beyond to fix any problems we had and I will be so grateful for that The hotel is gorgeous with so many things to do on the resort. The food we had at breakfast and lunch was amazing My reason for giving 4 stars are because 1. The main ritz pool was closed so we had to use the JW. Still lovely but would of been nice for some prior warning as the Ritz Pool just looked much more Elite and Adult friendly 2. Unfortunately with my sensitive sleeping I found the ventilation around the hotel very loud. Not sure if it’s old pipe works that cause this but it was throughout the whole hotel Again as mentioned above the staff really didn’t everything they good to rectify these minor issues and you helped create memories for life !
