The Residence Maldives At Dhigurah

We recently returned from a wonderful 6-day, 5-night stay at The Residence Maldives at Dhigurah, and it truly exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, everything was seamless and heartfelt. A special thank you to Fathun, who assisted us right at the domestic terminal upon arrival. I really appreciated her help — especially since I had to separate my gadgets and reorganise my hand-carry luggage. Despite arriving late at night, we were escorted straight to our villa, where a delicious dinner was thoughtfully provided for us. That kind of care made such a difference after a long journey. Service that comes from the heart — Every single team member made us feel so welcome — from the Front Office, F&B team, Housekeeping, to the friendly buggy drivers. A huge shout-out to the Housekeeping team: our room was always spotless, and they went above and beyond by preparing a lovely birthday arrangement on our very first night to celebrate my niece’s birthday. It was such a sweet surprise that made the occasion extra special. Beautiful, peaceful & thoughtfully designed — The resort itself is stunning — beautifully designed, incredibly relaxing, and wonderfully quiet and peaceful. It’s exactly where you go to truly disconnect and enjoy being surrounded by nature. We loved that you can easily walk or cycle across both islands — Falhumaafushi and Dhigurah using the complimentary bicycles. The property feels vast yet intimate, and The Castaway Island is an absolute gem — so serene and easily accessible via the 1km bridge. Activities & dining highlights — We also enjoyed the complimentary non-motorised water activities, including snorkelling right at the jetty and kayaking — a wonderful touch that added so much value to our stay. A round of applause to everyone who made our days extra special: • Ramona, Carl, and the Reservations team — for arranging our accommodation so smoothly from the very beginning • Leyla, Roy, and Ausam at Front Office — for always being attentive and assisting us with every request • Hafiz and the team at The Dining Room — for their warm greetings every morning and for making our dinners feel so welcoming • Maxine at Li Bai Restaurant and the rest of the team — for graciously accommodating our late lunch request and for that incredibly peaceful dinner at Long Islands • Afzal, Ibrahim, and the entire crew at Falhumaa — for the beautiful birthday song you sang for my niece; it truly added such a special touch to our dining experience • The Spa by Clarins team — for the wonderfully relaxing foot reflexology treatments, even managing to fit us in with a last-minute booking right before our departure • To the GM, Mr Sundaram — for welcoming and driving us to our departure on our last day. And to everyone at The Residence Maldives at Dhigurah — thank you for a truly memorable and luxurious experience.
