The Cavalier is situated on Ocean Drive, sitting just steps from the beach and Lummus Park, this South Beach boutique hotel is in close proximity to the city's most important sites and ever growing arts and culture scene, shopping, restaurants, and nightlife. A walk through the Art Deco Historic District, you'll see the largest collection of Art Deco architecture in the world. A stroll on Lincoln Road will bring you popular shopping and dining hotspots. You'll enjoy the relaxed scene of South Beach while staying near the heart of the major attractions and sights that have come to define South Beach. There are two major airports located within close proximity of the hotel: Fort Lauderdale International Airport and Miami International Airport. The hotel has 45 rooms with contemporary furniture and terra cotta floors. Amenities include television, in-room safe, direct dial phone, voicemail, computerized door lock, overhead fan, and a small work desk. Please note a security deposit of USD 200.00 is due at the time of booking for incidentals. This deposit is fully refundable upon check-out, subject to a damage inspection of the accommodation. Please note the resort fee of $28 (tax inclusive) per day includes the following: -Breakfast -2 beach chairs -WiFi -Beach towels -Club passes -Use of safety deposit box in room Valet Parking is offered at $45 per day.

Id definitely stay again

I would definitely stay here again. The rooms were spacious and clean, although the TV was limited to just one channel. The hotel offers free beach towels and loungers at the beach for guests. The property was clean and comfortable, with a great location. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was ideal for our needs.

Great location in Art Deco district

Room was clean but very small. Elevator only worked part of the time. The location was superb with easy access to the beach. Parking garage was directly behind the hotel. The staff were pleasant. Beach towels and beach chair access were a nice amenity.

Horrible Customer Service

The room was tiny, my client called me and complained. I called the hotel to see if I can upgrade to a bigger room. I told them I would pay for the upgrade. They told me to call back in the morning when they have the room available. The next morning (today) I called again, I inquired about the upgrade, I was told no suites were available until 2/27. Which I was fine with as I was told there was a double room available. I asked about refundable options in case it was decided to locate to another hotel. I was told to connect with the manager at 8:30 a.m. or the front desk around 8. When I called at 8:00 a.m., I told the clerk my dilemma, once again mentioning I would pay for an upgrade. He flipped out on me, not allowing me to talk. And then accused me of wanting a free upgrade, I asked if a manager was available, he too told me 8:30 a.m. and continued his rant and hung up the phone on me. I called at 8:30 and asked to speak with the manager, he was polite until he recognized my voice then started to sneer at me, told me the manager was not available until 10 and no rooms were available. I asked why the manager was not in till 10 as early and the night before I was told 8:30. He told me he doesn't lie to people, I mentioned I never accused him of the sort and only questioned it. I was very irritated at that point and simply hung up the phone. My clients were located to a different hotel so they can enjoy their stay with a receptionist that is welcoming vs one that sneers at people and doesn't help.

Amazing location - beautiful hotel

This met our expectations and more. Our room was beautiful better than the pictures on booking.com. Superb location and unbelievably quiet in the hotel room given we faced the sea. Interior is beautiful so in keeping with the location. I’d recommend this place and stay again
