This hotel has so much potential however a many things let it down and at best you could consider it 4 stars at the moment. Good points - Big resort, ample sunbeds even in peak (front row of pool go very early but can go down at 9-10 and still find loungers) - premium brands of alcohol (but ask for brands else they occasionally put in local stuff that tastes like paint stripper) - rooms clean (no turn down in evening) and if anything missing a quick call will address. - wifi good throughout hotel Bad - advertise multiple restaurants but only 1 of the 3 al a carte restaurants can be used once per stay. Others are paid for. Would expect 1 visit per restaurant per stay minimum... also food in these is the same as main buffet so no point in paying and no variation (I prefer al a carte to get something different) - vegitarian food lacking. Was so bored by the end of the 11 night stay just wanted to get home. Pizza, pasta, chips, noodles, rice. Not 1 plant based product, no pasta to order so you can mix it up, pizza lack sauce and take like dough and cheese... and cross contamination everywhere with spoons/tongs - while on face value looks like lots of food not actually that much choice and everyday the same. Maybe theme nights would help but even my husband who eats meat got bored.a lot of over cooked items (left in heaters too long) and repeated items making it look more vast then it was - no pool side drinks service, infact lack of service everywhere. No1 offers drinks at meals and you have to stop someone to get anything. Family of 4 and they pour 2 waters... why?? - not the hotels fault but people forget all manners or sense of decency here. Push in at food counter, walk into you. - many people complaining of things going missing... inflatables, shoes... even a ring! - family room gives 1 sofa bed which is rock solid. Hard to sit on let alone sleep on! - bathroom and balcony tiny... - on check in you get no information and just get directed to downloading app... no run through of facilities, timing's of restaurants etc. Guest services just as useless and will just give basic answers to questions... would expect more of a run through of facilities and timings or at least have it in the room to read at your leisure. - tour agents onsite massively over priced! - beach not sandy. Nothing like lara beach! Overall if the service and food was improved this would be a lovely hotel but in the absence of any change I wouldn't return... plenty of other hotels which are much better!
