Fantastic hotel and staff

We are currently in the swandor topkapi, in Room 4210,the rooms are clean,great aircon with very comfortable beds. All the staff are very pleased and helpful, Sena in the main lobby bar is a star,very chatty,full of fun and is a credit to the hotel. It's 8.45am and there is still more empty sundowners than reserved one's, so no need to get up early to reserve one,I have seen family's coming down around 10am and still able to get loungers. I have read other reviews about the food, in my opinion the food in the main dinning hall is great, plenty of choice, I would suggest getting a table, then going for your food, it can be busy,and with such good aircon, your food may get cold quickly. Overall the Swandor topkapi is a great hotel for couples and families and I would gladly recommend it. Robert

The grounds are nice but it’s let down by some of the staff who are unhelpful and rude. Plus a few other factors: On our first night the restaurant closed at 9pm and the snacks were appalling so we went to the hotel employee who organises taxis. He called a driver who drove us to the middle of nowhere and demanded we changed taxis. No meter and then we were taken to his mates shop and restaurant. 5 minute taxi drive cost 1300 lira which we later discovered was a scam. Do not use the hotel staff for taxi arrangements! Everything is extra including 31 euro for burger and chips except it doesn’t work, just comes up with an error. Main restaurant only opens for small windows of around an hour and a half. Outside of that the food is pretty bad. Music by the pool is monotonous - same techno music all day every day. Then disco in the evening has no variety, just thumping techno every night. There is an alternative live act but I wanted to party in a disco / club. Not possible unless you like thumping techno. No thought given at all to the other ages / cultures who are also paying guests. No variety. Shocking.

Lovely Family Hotel

Really enjoyed our stay here. The hotel and location is beautiful and food is amazing. The entertainment is spot on and so much to do for kids. Staff are super friendly and can't do enough for you. One tip would be to bring your own flasks/reusable straws as they only serve in glass and it was a bit tricky with young children. Also pool shoes as floors can be really slippy but other than that, we loved it here and are thinking about our return here. Thank you, Swandor for a wonderful stay.
