Susesi Luxury Resort

Our stay was between 26th of August till 3 rd of September. The overall feel of the hotel was relaxed and spacious- nothing ever feel too busy. Loved the food and the bars- all really good quality and quick service. The rooms are spacious and clean with lots of storage. The pool areas, were well laid out and had plenty of beds. The hotel staff is very professional and helpful. Bar şef Bekir Mutlucan, Sinan and Mehmet from reception, lobby bar Yusuf Toyluoğlu he ıs the master of the cocktails . From main restaurant mr Hakan , Çetin şef, Demet , Fatma Uysal and Büşra Özpınar . Guest relations Sudem,Semina , Elena . From Animation Karina and Vitalina . Pool bar Mehmet Ali and the rest of the. Nezihan Kular she kept our room spotless. And rest of the hotel staff. Everybody has been excellent, friendly and professional and helpful. We returned last week from a family holiday, staying for 8 nights with our two children aged 15 and 11. We had a great holiday and overall enjoyed our stay, however there are definitely areas of improvements and factors that in our opinion meant this was not a 5 star experience. The guests are predominantly Russian and Turkish, not many English and a few other Europeans thrown in. Starting with the positives, we received an upgrade upon arrival to a swim up lake house which was a nice surprise. The room was clean and spacious and the swimming channels between the lake houses were great to explore. The pool areas were big, clean and never felt too busy and it was relatively easy to get decent sunbeds. The bars were great, top branded spirits and beers in nice glasses with great cocktails, even by the pool. The beach and pier were also a nice space that never got too busy and had good bar service available. The entertainment was generally very good but could be a bit of a scrum with chairs in the arena. Where this Hotel starts to fall down a little is its sheer size and how dated some parts look, the main restaurant and the quality of food on offer, even at the A La Carte Restaurants. As it is so big, the service never feels personal and it lacks a soul and personality. It all feels a bit corporate and dated. The wood around the lake houses is in desperate need of renovation and some of the carpets and furniture around the place have stains etc. However , the biggest disappointment for us was the main restaurant and the food. It was overwhelming at first as it was so busy and there was so much choice. It is such a scrum to get a table, get a drink and get your food. The food is Ok, but that’s it. It wasn’t a pleasant experience and we ended up rushing just to get out. The A la cartes were much better just still felt the food was average. The snack around the pool were ok, especially the one near to the beach, however after a few days we had run out of new options and were repeating our orders. We have eaten much better food at similar resorts (one in Turkey) so we’re disappointed in this aspect. All this being said, we had a great time, most of the staff are friendly and try their best, and the pools, slides, entertainment and pier were all great, as was the room. It was the food, restaurants and lack of soul that let it down a little for us and meant it didn’t feel the best value for the price we paid. I wouldn’t detract people from staying but equally wouldn’t highly recommend it either. Hope this is of use.

Went in August as a family of 4 with kids aged 11 and 9. We stayed in a superior deluxe land view which had 2 small doubles together and a sliding door to a second area with 2 sofa beds for the kids. Sofa beds were quite hard mattresses but the customer service team sorted out some soft toppers the same day we asked. The room led straight down to the canals via the balcony and a flight of steps. Highlights were the 'canals' that threaded through the apartments, the kids loved swimming down to the main pool every day. It was a great area with shade and often only saw a couple of other swimmers. Slides were great fun. The overall feel of the hotel was relaxed and spacious - nothing ever felt too busy. Room service did a great job and my 9 year old liked the kids club, especially Masha. It was great having a midday movie there to get them out of the most intense sun. Both kids used the Cool Age club for older kids. Loved the food and the bars - all really good quality and quick service. Feedback that would make it a 4.5 (if that was an option) - team did a great job of resetting the tables at meals in the main restaurant, we never had a problem getting a table. They weren't always able to offer to get drinks for us. I'm sure they would if we asked but we didn't want to interrupt their tasks. The snack bars were menu ordering for the hot food rather than a buffet - made it great for fresh food by my kids like just grabbing some pizza or chips themselves when they feel like it - a less formal arrangement would have suited them better. (they survived with the help yourself to churros and waffles though!). And the slide area could do with a bar, or even just some fridges with soft drinks. Overall - a great hotel and really enjoyed our stay.

We have just returned from the Susesi Luxury Resort and wanted to write an honest review. Travelled 4 adults 2 x children 12 years old. 12 nights We had a lovely stay at this hotel, but not sure it is a 5* resort, as previously mentioned in another review it is a little tired and dated and some areas could definitely be improved. The images are deceiving, just doesn't have the WOW factor The rooms are spacious and clean with lots of storage space - Good size beds. Walk- in shower and toiletries - towels are a bit old, and just lacks luxury. Our balcony was tiny and our view was meant to be side sea view which it was if you lent over the edge - but we over looked the air-con units so not very pretty. We didn't use it once, room number 1543 The pool areas, were well laid out and had plenty of beds, although I did put towels down about 7am because there was 6 of us. Two huge bars and a couple of restaurants serving nice fresh food during the day, One lady going round serving soft drinks and beer from a trolley, could have had a few more maybe some on skates!! Water in fridges around the pools. There are 3 pools and one of them does all the activities so if thats what you are into then perfect, We liked to stay by the quieter pool and dip in to the activities when we wanted to. Area is kept pretty clean. Small waterpark with six slides - perfect for an hour of fun. You could swim around the pools that belonged to the swim up rooms so not private pools - I thought again the area looked really tired and none of the Jacuzzis worked which was a shame. Nice pier and beech, clean, not too busy, lots of beds and a small bar Water sports/ paragliding/speed boats available - felt it was really expensive and very little discount offered - but I think thats everything now days Teens club, the 12 year olds enjoyed it - didn't go everyday but was a nice change when they wanted to do something different The main buffet restaurant I think was the worse part of the hotel - Don't get me wrong the food was nice but it felt like a canteen, really busy, everything was under a lift up lid, very little being cooked fresh or displayed. The tables were on top of each other and felt like there wasn't enough staff at busy times. Advice eat outside, not under the cover go further out - nice tables, near the fountains, more staff :-) we found these areas in our second week - so much nicer The a la carte restaurants were all very nice and at 15 euros a head really good value, if you hadn't already paid for all inclusive!!! but well worth doing them all the staff really went out of their way to please you and the food was just gorgeous - We had no issues booking any of them for a party of six. Good evening entertainment - had some amazing shows, sadly let down by the area, rows of chairs all on top of each other - should set up with tables and space out a bit The staff were all pretty good and helpful but there will always be one or two that don"t smile ....kill them with kindness :-) I think if this hotel spent some money in some of the above areas just giving them the wow factor this would really make this hotel 5* Also note - if you want to go anywhere on excursions everything is about 1.5 hrs away. Recommend the zip-wire/white water rafting/buggy ride - a really fun day out for 50 euro pp You can go shopping in Belek centre 7 euro taxi ride - lots of bags/shoes/trainers about 10 mins away Land of Legends - about 20 mins away - expensive day out - wont let you in with your own food or drinks It was our first time in Belek, it isn't an area I would personally go back too.

It was a unique vacation. Everything in this hotel is wonderful: the food, the pools, the parties, and especially the treatment of the management and staff. They are really wonderful and kind and help you with everything you need. A special greeting to them.
