Sun Siyam Iru Fushi Maldives

We visited Sun Siyam Iru Fushi in April 2026 for our wedding and honeymoon. The whole experience from start to finish was absolutely perfect, and we couldn’t speak more highly of the entire Sun Siyam team. Everyone was incredible - the team at Male airport supporting the transfer to the resort, the wedding planning team, the holiday support team, and the bar and restaurant staff set such a high standard throughout our visit, and couldn’t do enough to make sure the trip was idyllic. We’d like to specifically highlight a few of the team. Firstly Catherine helped with our wedding planning and was amazing, both before we arrived in ensuring everything was prepared and what we wanted, and in running the wedding itself once we’d arrived. Secondly we had superb service from Sarif with tending our villa each day, with so many personal touches and dedication to making the trip special, which really meant a lot. Finally we’d like to highlight the support from Fayaz who operated as the butler for our stay. Nothing was ever too much, and Fayaz showed both professional and personal pride in the quality of support we received, which just made the experience so effortless. We couldn’t recommend Sun Siyam Iru Fushi any more highly, and the accommodation / facilities at the Horizon Water Villa With Pool were absolutely superb. It’s also worth flagging that the variety and quality of food at the resort restaurants was fantastic. We’ll certainly be heading back to the resort in the future!

After four years of visiting Siyam World, this year we decided to do something a little different and split our holiday between one week at Siyam World, which we absolutely adore, and one week at Sun Siyam Iru Fushi. After being picked up by speedboat from Siyam World following yet another unforgettable stay there, we met our soon-to-be amazing butler, Faahim, who accompanied us to Iru Fushi. From the moment we arrived, the experience felt special. As soon as we reached the resort, we were welcomed on the jetty with the warm and friendly arrival that has become a signature standard of Sun Siyam, and it instantly gave us a great first impression. During our stay, our accommodation was a Sunset Horizon Villa, and it really had the ultimate wow factor. The villa was beautiful, the setting was stunning, and it gave us that instant feeling that we were somewhere truly special. The sunsets from the villa were something else entirely — we have genuinely never seen anything like them before, and they made each evening feel unforgettable. Having now experienced both Siyam World and Iru Fushi, what stands out is how special both resorts are in their own way. Siyam World has an incredible energy, a real wow factor, and is somewhere we have fallen in love with over the last four years, while Iru Fushi offers a slightly different atmosphere that felt relaxed, refined, and equally memorable. It was a brilliant experience for us to enjoy both and appreciate what each resort brings to the Sun Siyam brand. The food was amazing throughout our stay, with Trio being a real standout for us. We have to give a special mention to Matteo — what a guy. Service like that really makes a difference and adds so much to the overall experience. The staff across the whole resort were friendly, welcoming, and could not do enough for you. It really does seem to be the standard across Sun Siyam resorts, and it is one of the reasons we keep coming back. What also stands out is that it is not just the staff you see every day, but also the people working hard behind the scenes who help make the whole experience what it is. The grounds team, cleaners, contractors, restaurant staff, chefs, and so many others all play a part in keeping the Sun Siyam brand and its islands something to be proud of. You can see the effort, care, and pride in what they are achieving throughout. A very special mention also has to go to Faahim for looking after us so well during our stay and also for simply being a great person. He really helped make our time at Iru Fushi even more enjoyable. Overall, Sun Siyam Iru Fushi gave us a fantastic experience and showed us another wonderful side of the Sun Siyam brand. It is a beautiful resort, with amazing accommodation, excellent food, outstanding hospitality, and a team of people who genuinely make guests feel welcome from start to finish. Hope to see you soon

Lovely evening in Trio. Naresh is such an attentive waiter we would highly recommend the team. They really make your evening special and the chef makes his own pasta fresh every day. What a lovely evening and always finished as it should be with limoncello.

Wow, indescribable is coming to mind! We really had the best experience at the resort. Nasif welcomed us in true Maldivian spirit and went above and beyond to deliver exceptional service making our honeymoon truly memorable. All the staff from Iru Restaurant, Waters Edge, Bamboo, Taste of India, Trio, the spa, Reflections, Islanders Grill, housekeeping and ground staff delivered exceptional services. They truly made us feel home. You can truly see that they want to ensure that the guests have an amazing experience. The resort is so well look after. If you want an epic food experience then look no further. Besides it being Maldives (enough said), the food options at the resort were amazing, delightful and so incredibly yummy.
