Exceptional Stay – Our Favourite Villa in Bali So Far! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Yes the villas may appear a bit dated but look beyond this and see the wonderful staff, location and excellent service. We stayed in the Deluxe Pool Villa (One Bedroom) at Sun Island Boutique Villas for a week leading up to Easter, and without a doubt, this has been the best villa we’ve stayed in across our five visits to Bali. There are so many reasons we’d recommend staying here: Location – perfect. Right in the heart of Seminyak, just a short walk to great shops (especially for clothes), Bintang Supermarket, amazing restaurants, and fun bars like The Stonewall Bar (highly recommend the drag shows!). Everything you could want is close by, yet the villa itself feels like a private, peaceful escape. The staff were all lovely – friendly, professional, and always smiling. A special mention to Putu Anika at reception, who went above and beyond to assist us when we arrived. He was incredibly helpful and made us feel so welcome from the very start. The vibe of the villa complex is calm, relaxing, and just beautiful. It’s the perfect place to unwind, and our villa was always immaculately cleaned by the housekeeping team. We truly loved our stay and are already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommend to anyone wanting comfort, convenience, and outstanding service in Seminyak.

We stayed in a Deluxe Pool Villa at Sun Island Boutique Villas for one week and absolutely loved it. Highly recommended and 100% worth the upgrade! This was our fifth time in Seminyak/Bali, and hands down, this is the best place we've stayed so far. While some reviews mention the villas might need updating, we actually found the property charming and full of Balinese character. The Deluxe Villa is spacious and comfortable, with an indoor kitchen—a feature we really appreciated. It felt more like a private apartment than a typical hotel stay. The whole complex is clean and well maintained, with lush tropical gardens that create a peaceful, relaxing vibe throughout. There's something special about the ambience here that really sets it apart. The staff were exceptional, especially Putu Anik at reception. We put his customer service skills to the test a couple of times during our stay, and he truly went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. The team at the restaurant/bar by the pool were equally wonderful—friendly, welcoming, and always ready with a smile. We also really enjoyed the breakfast, which was included and had great variety. We’ve already decided: when we return to Bali for Christmas, we’ll definitely be coming back to Sun Island Boutique Villas. Can’t wait!

My wife and I stayed in a deluxe pool villa, we were impressed with the size of the overall space and the size of the villa itself. Great design, loved the pool (great for regular dips to cool off) bed was massive with convenient power points and light switches in the head board area. Staff were super friendly throughout. We had the breakfast included which is specifically ordered rather than buffet, we enjoyed this as it was fresher / crispier than other resorts we’ve stayed at. Security was good, there is a supermarket approx 50m away (very handy!), shops of all kinds just out the main gate and not a long walk to the beach (great sunsets). Asked for a later checkout and they were able to accommodate which made our last day a lot more relaxing. Would we return? - Absolutely!!

Awesome location & villa was spacious for a family of 5. Great breakfast & room was clean and today. Staff were very friendly & accomodating. Would highly recommend. All facilities weee great & pool area great. Shops/massage & restaurants just outside front door very convenient.

Great location... fantastic accommodation....amazing staff... very clean venue. Staff were very respectful and polite and could not do enough for us. We are first timers to Bali but because of our experience, we will definitely come back again.
