Sublime is understatement

We recently stayed 4 nights in the honeymoon suite (#13) at this fantastic property. To say that the whole experience was sublime is an understatement. The setting is simply stunning and the room very large with a comfortable bed and well appointed. The outdoor hot tub overlooking the caldera made it an unforgettable experience. Plenty of outdoor sitting space too. The staff was very friendly and helpful especially as they dealt with us (and apparently many others) making the rookie mistake of locking ourselves out of our room on our first day as we’re in the hot tub and the (only) key still in the room! Kudos also go to those who carried our heavy luggage to and from the airport taxi to the very hilly area where the property is located. (As a side note, this property- and Santorini in general - is not suitable for anyone with any kind of mobility challenge. Lots of hills, narrow steps and uneven terrain everywhere). The only “nits” I could offer is that the breakfast options are relatively limited especially for anyone who doesn’t like eggs. Also, the room is very dark, particularly in the bathroom/sink area (which is inconveniently located far away from the toilet area) and the nearby shower basically unusable without flooding the area. Fortunately, there is another shower in the indoor hot tub area! The room could also use more hooks for hanging towels and bathing suits. This is probably the most stunning place we have ever stayed at and hope to go back someday. In the meantime, we highly recommend it to others for an unforgettable experience!

A Perfect Stay

I can't say enough about our stay. From the moment we checked in, to the moment we said our good-byes, our stay was magical. The rooms were lovely and immaculate. The views were breathtaking and the location was perfect. Breakfasts were tasty, and the WiFi worked well. The best thing about Stella Rocca though were the people. Everyone we came across during our stay were just incredible. Had a bit of a medical issue and Demetria and Kostos were amazing. Throughout our stay, both of them just went above and beyond to assist us with whatever we needed. They are both truly special people.

Can't explain how amazing this hotel is! Staff members are charming, friendly and very helpful. The location of the place is the best in my opinion. A quiet area between Fira and Oia with cafes and restaurants. And let's not talk about the dreamy landscape. Definitely not our last time there. Only the breakfast should improve with more options, other than that everything was perfect!!!!
