Breath taking views honeymoon vibes

Me and my husband arrived at Santorini for our first time for our honeymoon we were welcomed by someone from Sophia luxury suites to help with our luggage which was lovely walking down to reception omg the view of the caldera was divine absolutely breathtaking. we then were met by the lovely guy at reception who set through everything with us very well we went into room 203 the best suite we was told . We went to our room which was up a few stairs In the private Area and it was amazing spacious and the indoor and outdoor pool were fabulous I was so happy the weather was warm and it was bright and sunny. We went out and about into nearby areas Fira and Oia

Beautiful stay

We stayed in the Poets House in Sophia Suites Imerovigli for 1 week at the end of Sept. Starting off the bellboy was excellent, then the welcome by the hotel Manager clearly explaining everything we needed to know. He offered to help book trips etc if we needed (we didn't but good to know) and we were given a welcome drink and snack which were a lovely surprise. Poets House was an amazing room, the view is stunning, you can see the caldera beautifully as well as the lights of Oia and Fira at night. The room had robes, slippers, a fridge, lots of towels, an outdoor pool and we just loved the cave style of it all. Every day the maid was prompt and did an excellent job. Breakfast you order the day before via whatsapp which we found really easy to communicate with (they are a few doors down too if you prefer to ever speak in person). Breakfast had excellent choice, various eggs, cereal, sweet dishes and all freshly prepared, it arrives in takeout containers, great to have in your robe on your terrace. We were given a little welcome gift the night before we left, all these small touches are appreciated. We didn't book excursions with the hotel but did the walk to Oia and back, catamaran tour where we saw a sea turtle while swimming, went to see the Akrotiri site, visited Kamari for the day, of course went to Skaros rock (it's opposite the room!), a wine tasting tour and went to Pyrgos for the day. We mainly got buses from Fira, about a 30 minute walk to the station. We found the amount of people around just right, can imagine how a few weeks ago it would have been hard to move around the streets! There are also lots of lovely restaurants in the area at night, not far at all. We loved our stay and will be back, thank you to all the staff!

Hands off! Dirty, moldy smell, old inventory.

Two nights were two nights too many. Unbelievable!!! We can't put it into words. The attached pictures reflect our luxury vacation. But the main problem, however, was the moldy, musty smell at night. The man of our holiday is the manager: incompetent, stubborn, uncomprehending! He thinks it has to be like that, that's the style. Ancient style! But all we saw was just old!

The worst staff service I have experienced

My stay at Sophia’s Luxury Suits in Imerovigli was not the best, the bedroom was okay and it had a nice view but the service was bad! As soon as we got there, they offered to take our luggage to the bedroom but when it arrived it was broken and they didn’t took any responsibility for it, in fact almost accused us of lying saying it was broken before. The breakfast was served in takeout boxes, with our drinks spilled everywhere and many times with the wrong order. I would not stay there again, however if you are planning on going I would suggest taking pictures and videos of your luggage so you're safe of accusations
