One of the worst places we've been to in a long time, realistically 2*+ or 3* at absolute best. So busy, there were no free sunbeds - not one - for our first few days. We went on the beach. When asked why no beds were available the reception staff stated - we are full. Buy more beds then? Canteen - not a restaurant - was utterly chaotic, crammed, serving poor to average food at best, and the cooking grill was hilariously small with a queue every night as once the food was cooked, four to five people had emptied what had been cooked. Free for all to grab a table, no staff to show you to one, we had to clear our own plates, absolutely shambolic. Our room was like stepping back into the 80's, absolutely basic as could be, really dreadful with two beds, and two bunks! At least the shower worked. Main bar in hotel was woefully understaffed with one - yes one - barman. More long queues for weak drinks, you can drink the beer and gin here all day and night with limited effect. Entertainment at the pool bar was either non existent or abysmal, truly dreadful in fact, we found ourselves going out to find better. We ate and drank out numerous times despite being all inclusive - had to maintain some sanity rather than eat in with the vest and shorts clad, flip flopped masses. No sign whatsoever of the fabled manager - perhaps he stayed out of sight and sat reading the glowing reviews in his office instead of facing customers like us to get the real lowdown face to face. We never saw anyone in a suit resembling a manager in ten days, not once. Shame. Lunchtime pizza was pretty good as been said, but it's not a hard thing to make is it? I went across to the beach bar on an afternoon to get some real beer in a decent glass, and escape the place generally. I really cannot understand the great reviews on here. We couldn't wait to leave, I wouldn't go back if it was for free. Totally disappointing.
