Absolute beachfront gem

A small and boutique hotel that offered a range of high quality rooms away from the hustle and noise of the main tourist areas. We stayed in Villa Song - one of the 2 two bedroom beachfront villa and it was fabulous. The comfort of the bedrooms, the detached kitchen and lounge and the private pool with direct beach access. Highly recommend for adult travellers who are wanting a relaxed stay but you will require a car or scooter to get around.

Beautiful spacious accommodation, well equipped, and well maintained. Fabulous beach..... very quiet, and safe-shallow water for 15m. Staff friendly and helpful. Their restaurant is 200m away ( but they have a shuttle buggy!) Good food, lovely breakfasts. 5 mins walk to 7/11, 5 to 10 mins by taxi into the nearby larger towns. We liked this because it was down a quiet side road( with chooks scratching around, and lots of birdlife) , and yet not too fat from nearby tourist spots

Lovely hotel, check location before you book

Beautiful hotel with fantastic rooms which are true to the pictures that you see on the website. The WOW factor is really there when you walk into the room and you see your own private infinity pool at the end of your balcony… the rooms are classy, finished to a high standard and have everything you need for a self catering/ bed and breakfast experience. The cons? The hotel is fairly remote and doesn’t have its own bar or communal pool so if you are looking to mingle with other guests this may not be for you (we did meet the owner, Sammy, who told us about a new pool/bar/restaurant) which is planned for this year which sounded like it would provide more of the above. Sammy was great as an owner who took time to talk to us and get our feedback. Shout out to the staff also who were friendly and welcoming. We spent quite a lot of time and money travelling to areas which had shops and bars. There really isn’t anything in the vicinity which I would say check out if you need it. There are two 7/11’s really close so you are able to buy food; so as long as you can cook Thai ingredients you are all good to go. Overall, I can’t give this place less than a 4 star, the rooms and setting is exemplary but I couldn’t give it a 5 due to the lack of close amenities. Breakfast is provided in the restaurant that has been opened recently and we had pizza before we left which was really good.
