My first time staying here but it was a bad experience no light for 2 days no back up generator in place TV and cable box don't work during that 2 days I could not use any of the appliances also stuff in the refrigerator started to spoil

Surprised by my boyfriend, he booked a beautiful unit in this complex for the weekend. Upon arriving, the castles were not visible from the street. At the entrance, we saw a sign for another complex, but we continued through and up the hill to discover a gorgeous complex! Pleasantly surprised, we found our unit and were blown away by the view of Ocho Rios through the grand, oversized windows. The ocean meeting the sky was breathtaking, and the ocean breeze was romantic. Settling in, we began to soak in the unit's features. It was gorgeous, but not perfect. Desperately in need of some TLC, the furniture was dated. The paint was peeling off the door, the appliances were dated and a 2 burner cooktop was the stove, Hopes of prepping a romantic meal were quickly dashed. With very little space in the kitchen, it wasn't long before the garbage began to pile up. Every shower led to a flood from the shower having only half of the glass enclosure. We decided to explore the complex and ventured downhill on foot. We ended up walking all the way down into the town which was extremely relaxing, but then we had to go back up. That's when I began to struggle! If you're a hiker, you'll be in heaven but my heart filed several complaints on the way back up! This is a beautiful complex. Romantic and serene. We did a bit of research and discovered that the unit was listed for sale and in contract. I am sure the new owner will be forever satisfied with this purchase.

We had an amazing view from our studio apt. It was just enough room for the 2 of us. The hills were a little much but we made it. The grounds were well kept. We met a local taxi driver Kelly 876-810-5950. He will take you wherever you want to go. We enjoyed going to Mystic Mountain and riding the Jamaican bobsled which is within walking distance and we also visited the Irie Blue hole. That was amazing and breath taking. It's easier to use local taxi to get there. We felt safe the whole time and enjoyed ourselves. Definitely will be going back.

This is a lovely complex, we stayed for 12 days. The grounds are kept beautiful! Close walking distance to supermarkets and everything else in Ochie! If your traveling from Canada, don't waste your time buying American money, you can use debit and credit pretty much everywhere! If you want cash hit a ATM, and get local currency, it's very close to Canadian. We stayed in phase 2, and the manager that looks after that phase is fantastic (Ms Roberts) the pool is beautiful and very clean. Sky castles is also know as Columbus heights. Make sure you have good walking shoes though, the hill going up can be a killer! Over all very beautiful complex and we always felt safe, and that meant a lot considering we had our 7 year old daughter with us.

On January 1, 2016 I had my reservation for this property which I found online prior to my visit to Jamaica. I had visited my family for a few days I wanted to spend a few days with my friend in Ocho Rios. Upon arrival at the property I was informed that check-in is at another hotel. Once I located the hotel for check-in I went to the property Sky Castle. On my arrival to the condominium I realized the door was unlocked. I entered the condominium and the first thing that stood out was the comforter on the bed with a huge hole and a lot of mosquito's in the room. Their was no phone to call the front desk and luckily I had a cell phone which I had to use to call the other property where I had initially checked in. I informed the gentleman that the bed sheet had a huge hole and that the bathroom was in a deplorable stage and I need to get hot water so I can get a bath. He indicated that someone will come to check the room. I waited for at least an hour and forty five minutes before Clive Taylor came. He stated that he was the Property manager and I showed him the linen on the bed. To my surprise his response was "the housekeeper is not at work" and I will have to wait until the next day. I was very shock and stunned to the response he gave me. I then told him the heater did not work neither the iron again his response was do you know how to turn something on or off. I was very shock and indicated to him that yes I am well educated and I do know how to read and comprehend. He then left the condominium rudely without even apologizing for his rude remarks or the condition of this particular condo. I definitely not recommend this property to any visitor trying to take a vacation in Jamaica. I will recommend that Jamaica Tourist Board and TDPCO conduct a through inspection for this property and also have a training for "Customer Service" where every person working with this Hotel can benefit from it.
