Beautiful hotel with incredible views. The room was perfectly clean. The free hotel shuttles made getting into town super easy. The rooftop restaurant is a must go! All staff were lovely and helpful especially Maria and Despina. Would definitely recommend!

A Palace Paradise

We were very much in need of having a relaxed and stress free holiday due to difficult health issues in the months prior. Skiathos Palace Hotel did not disappoint. Its prime location, royally elevated above the sea, Koukounaries beach and the pine forests beyond, was uplifting in itself. The facilities are first rate: the rooms are comfortable and regularly attended to; the pool area is wonderful and the extensive buffet breakfasts in the open air are enjoyable. Staff are cheery and friendly and reception staff are very helpful. There is a regular and reliable bus service, or for the more adventurous, a water taxi, to Skiathos Town which is characterful with a lively harbour area & with vantage points to see the incoming planes. In Koukounaries itself there is a reasonable choice of friendly Greek eateries, with scenic pine forest walks to a variety of beautiful beaches. What a tonic! We shall definitely return.

Once again, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Friendly and welcoming management and staff, as always. Comfortable and clean accommodation. The TUI rep was very helpful. We've stayed here many times over the years and are returning in 2025.

This hotel has an amazing location with outstanding views. You are close to the best beach on the island and just a water taxi ride away from the main town. The hotel could use some updating. The towels were old and frayed. They made our bed like two twin beds which I found odd. When we checked in, the girl went through all the instructions so fast, we had no idea what she had said. Some written instructions would have been so much better. The rooftop restaurant was very nice. The hotels private beach was also very nice. Yes you have to go down stairs to access it, but if you don't like stairs, don't go to Greece.

A wonderful hotel with Caviats

How do I start ? Considering my unfortunate circumstances. On the first day at this wonderful hotel I unfortunately dislocated 2 vertebrae my own stupid fault so spent some time within the hotel unable to venture out . The staff are extremely helpful and friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible . Our friendly waiter George served us our meals in our bedroom whilst I couldn’t get around and the Manager Another George checked in on us daily . The hotel is ideally situated overlooking Koukounaries Bay it is clean and tidy and meals are adequate not over the top but well cooked and a nice choice . Pool area is wonderful however the towel gremlins seem to get up early for the best beds I didn’t think this was still a thing ?. If you plane to go B&B we were informed of plenty of taverners in walking distance from the hotel . Transfer from the airport was some 25minutes after drop offs . I only have a couple of pieces of advice !! There is no lift in the hotel and quite a few stairs to climb to the restaurant and pool area . There is again quite a hike down to the beach and coming back up the steps is not for the faint hearted BUT there is a courtesy bus running every 15minutes BIG BONUS. This pretty much sums up this lovely hotel so much that we have booked to go back September 2025 .
