Beautiful, luxury experience

This was our first stay at Silavadee, but hopefully won't be our last. From the moment we were picked up at the airport in a lovely air-conditioned minibus with iced water provided, we were treated like royalty. We stayed for 13 nights in a Scenic Ocean View Pool Villa (Villa 43), which had a beautiful pool and amazing view. The room was spotless, the bed luxurious and so comfortable, and we loved the rain shower, and complimentary sweets and exotic fruit provided every day. The breakfasts are to die for - you can order as much as you like from the Western and Thai menu, which included pancakes, lobster roll, acai bowls, caviar, anything you can think of! There is also a huge selection of fruit, pastries, savouries etc to choose from the buffet, as well as fruit juice and champagne to make tropical mimosas. We enjoyed Thai oil massages in the spa, which were amazing, especially with a 20% discount, which appeared to be standard. We managed to have a meal at the Height Thai restaurant on site before it was closed for renovation, and it was fantastic. The menu was transferred to the other restaurants so we didn't miss out once the renovations started. In fact, we weren't inconvenienced at all by the renovations, and didn't even notice them! However, we were very grateful for the complimentary happy hour at the Sun bar - thank you to all the staff there for being so attentive and quick with the mojito refills! The food in all of the restaurants (Sun, Moon and Star) was fantastic throughout our stay. A big shout out to Chef Manee who ran our Thai cookery class - she obviously is excellent at what she does and made us feel very comfortable. A big thank you to Aom and Pure on the tour desk, who arranged our excursions. We had a great time visiting Ang Thong Marine Park, and dolphin spotting and visiting Pig Island, and we loved visiting Elephant World, despite a downpour. We'd like to extend a big thank you to all of the staff, who were all so friendly and polite, and couldn't do enough for us. The hotel is beautifully secluded and feels very private and special. The whole experience was pure luxury and we felt like VIPs.

Amazing, luxury hotel with fabulous staff.

We were very well looked after by all staff from the moment we arrived. We had a smooth check in with New and Mew and shown round our fabulous well equipped villa. We stayed here for a week in villa 19 (tropical pool room with partial sea view). The villa was well equipped with a Dyson hairdryer, iron and ironing board. We were left a plate of exotic fruit daily along with jars of snacks. There was a fully stocked bar with various alcoholic drinks (chargeable) with complimentary soft drinks and water replenished daily. An evening turn down service was lovely with local sweet treats left on our pillows. We were advised by our travel agent a few months before that The Height restaurant, Pool and fitness centre were being renovated. The hotel put on a complimentary drinks hour each evening and we received a small allowance given each night against our resort bill which more than compensated. We were not disturbed by any building work although a little noise could be heard at the sun bar and in the spa but wasn't too loud. All areas of the hotel were well maintained: regular sweeping of leaves, pools cleaned, gardens pruned etc. The resort is on a very steep hill. This resort is not really suitable for people with mobility issues although there are buggies you can call to take you round. Breakfast was amazing. There were so many options in the buffet plus a menu to order eggs, pancakes, french toast etc. We were given a complimentary in room breakfast for one morning. This was fabulous with so much food provided. We saved half for our lunch. We were also provided with a huge breakfast to take away on our early departure home. We had the most relaxing massage treatment in the spa. We had the offer that was on which consisted of 30min body scrub with 1 hour massage. We did hear a little bit of building noise here which frustrated the spa staff but honestly didn't bother us. We didn't really use the beach but there were plenty of loungers and the staff at the bar were attentive. They were busy photographing on the beach for a brochure/ web but plenty of space for all. Again, we didn't use the pool near the sun lounge as we had our own pool to use at the villa. There is a shuttle bus provided by the hotel to take you to Chaweng or Lamai which is good but the times aren't the best and it's only a couple of times per day. Reception can arrange travel for you though should you require it. A big thank you to the food and beverage manager, Zegame, who looked after us throughout our weeks stay with his fabulous team. Nothing was too much trouble for him and we enjoyed drinks at our little VIP area sat at the bar in the Sun lounge. We had dinner in Star but found the service to be a little slow and we were not asked if we wanted more drinks etc. We spoke to Zegame who ensured our next visit was much better. A big shout out to Dear who is just lovely and always smiling. She helped us learn some Thai words and we helped with some English. Pufai made the best cocktails, King was very attentive with drinks, Aonny was always smiling and checking we'd had a good day and others including Ton and Yon looked after us well. Apologies if I've missed anyone, but everyone was so friendly and polite. We highly recommend this hotel if you want somewhere to chill and relax. The only downside for us was the location as it wasn't somewhere you could walk to bars and restaurants from which we like to do but cannot fault the hotel at all and the service we received.

Memorable stay at Silvadee Pool Villas

Our first time expirienced at this beautiful resort and it turned out to be just amazing. Though there were some minor unexpected issues prior to our checking in but the hotel team did managed to resolved matter very professionally.The rooms are spacious ( specially the pool villas) and nicely decorated,Food were just excellent, thanks to Chef Manee & Khun Orn for looking after all our food requirements. Last but not the least thanks so much to all the hotel staffs for looking after all of us and made this stay such a wonderful experience. Hopefully we’ll be back again and recommend this place to everyone.

A-MA-ZING hotel, excellent service

Absolutely amazing hotel close to Lamai beach. We had a great stay because the hotel staff made everything smooth. They have an excellent attention to details and this is really making a difference between a good and an excellent property. The rooms have everything you need and lots of amenities. The food is amazing in all restaurants, including the a-la-carte breakfast. The views from the pool, restaurants and villas are breathtaking. Our holidays wouldn’t have been the same without the assistance of Tiksung & Sukun from the guests relations department. A warm thank you to both of them as well as the kitchen chef. We travel to 5 star hotels several times a year and we are not easy to impress, so you can trust our review. 😊

Needs a complete refresh but a lot of potential.

We stayed in a scenic ocean view pool villa. The pool and view were stunning but the room itself was tired and needed refreshing. The private beach was a real disappointment, covered in rubbish. We were hoping to use it but didn’t want to after seeing it. Almost everywhere in the resort needed freshening up with peeling paint everywhere. It wasn’t cheap to stay there so we were disappointed. The staff were lovely.
