Standards slipping.

Our third visit to the SSE but our last, the hotel is looking tired in certain areas, especially the rooms looking on to the road, the corridor carpets are really shabby looking. I had a terrible experience with the guest relations manager whom was very rude, after continually trying to get booked for the Italian restaurant and being unsuccessful, her advice was "if you are not happy with the restauarants in the hotel, there are plenty outside the hotel you can visit!!" The buffet food was often luke warm and we found it difficult to get a seat most evenings, often having to get our own cutlery. I emailed the general manager Onur Verdioglu with my concerns but 3 weeks later and still no reply!

Lovely hotel, clean and excellent food and drinks. Staff very helpful and friendly, particularly Ozan and Mike from the entertainment team. They made our stay very enjoyable. We all loved the daily dart game. We will definitely be coming again. Thank you!

First time visit to Turkey won’t be the last The hotel first class 5 * plus, we enjoyed it so much we have already booked again for next year, Good points first Duden bar staff really friendly professional but entertaining thanks to all especially Senanaur and friends made our evening fun, The restaurants all brilliant especially the Chinese again thanks to Ghokan and Sercan who made it a great night, Majority of people German few English no problem for us, The only thing we did not like as none smokers was the smokers areas where as always the best area and our areas where tiny so we had to suffer smoke so could not eat anywhere free from smoke outside, really hope this will be improved for next year, nice easy walk to side town about 25 minutes and nice shops along the way.

Couldn't find fault with this hotel booked with Jet2 holidays great service. The staff are the hotels best asset.lots of different places to eat and drink lovely walk along seafront to side old town used indoor pool most days as weather was cooler .

I would like to start by saying the hotel staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. They also spoke excellent English. Unfortunately, the first room we were shown to was poor; it was too dark (faulty lights), and was too noisy from the traffic on the adjacent road. It was not what we had expected from the photos advertised, and not what we would expect from a hotel of this class. So we politely complained to reception who quickly moved us to a room with working lighting and a sea view. We appreciated this a lot, because this room was bright and appeared to be far more modern. The room itself was kept clean to a high standard and the minibar was restocked daily. The food on offer at the hotel was generally excellent but we would have preferred more Turkish cuisine at the dinner buffet, and felt it could be a little overwhelming when trying to put together a dinner combination. Breakfast buffet was very good as well with plenty of choice, although grilled/fried tomatoes seemed to only be available the one time. We tried the Turkish, Chinese and Fish A la carte restaurants. The food was also very good at these and we felt these restaurants represented very good value. The waiting staff were always attentive, friendly and had a good sense of humour, which we liked a lot. The lunchtime offer was good in the timeout bar, with plenty of choice. The hotel had a spa where you could sample a massage for free but if you decide to purchase, be aware the cost of these are expensive when compared to what’s available nearby. The spa had a heated indoor pool and saunas which were free to use. There was also a heated outdoor pool located near the lobby which we used. Access to the private beach at the back of the hotel was easy through the well maintained gardens at the rear, where there are further bars and restaurants and another outdoor pool. I think we would definitely stay here again but as long as we were guaranteed the same standard of room.
