Selene Beach & Spa Hotel

This was undoubtedly the best hotel we have stayed at ,the staff especially were fantastic the rooms and decor lovely the food was excellent, even things we hadn't expected were though out and provided, we can't thank them enough One additional big thanks is to our tui rep selina ,she was over and beyond helpful and a lovely lady ,a real gem We would definitely recommend a stay here ,and would go back ourselves

We have stayed at various hotels in Turkey before, but Selene Beach is one of the best options. The friendly staff, clean and cozy rooms, and delicious food all stood out. I must also mention that we’ve never had such excellent internet in any other hotel. We are pool enthusiasts and spent most of our time at the main pool and the spa pool with its amazing view. We purchased a massage package, which gave us access to the rooftop pool for free. I was also pleasantly surprised by the snack bar, where dishes are served to order. The waffles with ice cream and fruit completely won over my heart (and my figure!). I tried to avoid this place, but the tempting aroma would find me in every corner of the hotel. We’re already dreaming of returning to Selene Beach, to our pool, and of course, to the waffles!

We stayed at the hotel from October 5 to October 14.Our key criteria were proximity to the sea, an adults-only atmosphere, and the Alanya region. We had previously been to Kemer in October, where the evenings were noticeably cooler, and the sea was much colder. In contrast, here it was warm, and even in the evenings, we could comfortably wear t-shirts and shorts. We arrived at the hotel closer to lunchtime. We were welcomed, seated to fill out forms, offered drinks, and then given a glossy information sheet about the hotel – this immediately made a good impression. The lobby was beautiful, not too large or overly luxurious, but stylish. Our room was provided right away – clean and nicely decorated. However, we didn't like the view of the surroundings, as it faced another hotel. We requested a room change and were shown two options. One was in the front part of the hotel with a view of the road, shops, and a sea view on the fifth floor. Of course, this room came with an additional charge, but we couldn’t resist. I decided to cut back on shopping but wake up to a stunning view. The hotel is quite small, which we already knew from the reviews, so we were prepared for it. The beach was a bit disappointing, as it occupies a very small part of the lagoon. However, the wooden platforms saved the day – no need to deal with sand, and the bar was close. There is also a small restaurant above where you can have lunch, and drinks for the beach are available there as well. We’re not fans of pools, but the one on the 6th floor was a pleasant surprise. It offered a beautiful view and a peaceful atmosphere, though there was no bar. We solved that by grabbing two bottles of beer each from the lobby, where drinks are available in bottles. The main restaurant is absolutely wonderful. We were lucky to experience Turkish Night and Seafood Night. The restaurant isn’t large, so the variety isn’t extensive, but everything is delicious, with plenty of choices. There’s always grilled food outdoors, fish, and two to three types of meat. We also tried the à la carte restaurant. The view and atmosphere were lovely, but it didn’t leave a lasting impression – the food was average. Ten days at the hotel flew by, though by the end, we were ready to go home. Everyone has their own limit – some find three days enough, while others would happily stay three weeks. We didn’t go on excursions, spending most of our time at the hotel and taking evening strolls in the surrounding area.

In August, we stayed at the Selene Beach hotel in a standard room with a sea view, and overall, our experience was quite pleasant. The hotel itself is in good condition, with modern and clean facilities that made our stay comfortable. The room was cozy, though not overly luxurious, but it met all our needs. In addition to the standard furniture, there was a kettle, a fridge, a small kitchenette with its own sink and cabinets, bathrobes, good-quality slippers, a well-stocked bathroom amenities set, and a convenient laundry basket. Major advantages included high-speed internet in the room, self-adjustable air conditioning, and a stunning direct sea view. The downside of the room was poor soundproofing. We specifically chose an adults-only hotel, knowing that August would bring many children. We're not bad people, but we didn't want to see children… however, we did encounter some on the beach, as they occasionally wandered over from neighboring hotels. The pools were excellent, and the atmosphere was as we had hoped—relaxed, but with music and animation that didn’t bother us or push us to join activities. We’re too lazy for that... The area around the hotel offers places to walk, shops, and bars. On Wednesday, we took a taxi to visit the local market and also went to Alanya and Avsallar in the evenings. It was our first time on this side of Turkey, and we can say that it’s quite comfortable here. Many people, such as shopkeepers, speak English. On our way back from Alanya, we decided to save money and took a bus. It wasn’t difficult but took a long time—about an hour. The bus stopped every three minutes, seemingly in front of every hotel. It was an interesting experience for us, but taking a taxi is definitely better. The food at the hotel was delicious and abundant, with meals transitioning into snacks, then ice cream, then waffles, and so on without end. In conclusion, the hotel is worth every cent.

7 days at the hotel flew by in the blink of an eye, and we are already looking forward to our next visit. We loved absolutely everything about the hotel, but what stood out the most was the friendly and welcoming staff. You guys are doing an amazing job! The only downside is the distance from the airport. It took us 4—yes, FOUR—hours to get there! OMG.. But this didn’t spoil our impression of the hotel at all. Selene, we’re already dreaming of meeting you again!
