Wonderful

We had a fantastic villa on the hill and the room was exceptional (almost too much space) The shuttle bus works very well and we really enjoyed the trips up and down the hill! There was always room by the pool and on the beach which was amazing and the staff were lovely. We liked the food offerings at both restraints and highly recommend the top for sunset! My only snagged was the day we left we had to catch an early boat so didn’t have time for breakfast up at the top so they said they would give us an ‘American breakfast’ now I know Americans aren’t used to good food but everything in the bag was disgusting! Ham and egg sandwich and weird croissant thing……was expecting something better considering the very good breakfasts they offered. We were disappointed but it didn’t ruin the trip

We loved our stay, the hotel is beautiful, amazing views and staff were excellent. Food could be improved, we are off the resort twice and the food was more flavourful and it was cheaper, so the standard of food should be increased to warrant the prices.

4.5 out of 5 This resort is in a stunning location, the rooms have wonderful views, are welcome equipped and very clean. We had 2 superior sea view rooms on the higher floor in building 5. The view was uninterrupted beauty. The shuttle buses worked fine every time for us, a short walk with a view back to the room was pleasant after the drop off. The infinity pool was amazing at sunset and the large waterfall pool was very pleasant. Regarding the restaurants and bars, food and drinks had to be ordered via smartphone by scanning a QR code, this was fine for pool side but it’s not great for restaurant dining, a little bit impersonal. We stayed 4 nights, wish we’d stayed longer…. Our only complaint was related to a trip we wanted to take, it was cancelled the evening before blaming the weather, more of a story to it but not for here! We found an alternative much more reasonable in price and to our needs. Overall a very pleasant stay, would be 5/5 except for the QR and trip issues.

The hotel is stunning as is the beach and infinity pool. The rooms are amazing and the majority of staff lovely. Things that I didn’t like, the towel situation I doesn’t work, you have to sign out a sarong and use that, but if you sign out at the beach you can’t sign that sarong back in up the hill at the infinity pool! Why? They don’t have menus you have to order food and drinks via a webpage which screams McDonald’s or Wetherspoons not a 5 star resort. Not sure why you can’t have both options. The beach was nice, the water sports guys seemed overly cautious but I can’t blame them for that, paddle board and kayaking was fun. The infinity pool is just stunning. Highly recommend

Beautiful resort with most incredible rooms

Beautiful resort in a stunning location. The rooms are divine, we stayed in a 2 bedroom saltwater pool villa which was huge and beautiful views out to see/ over to Phuket. We travelled with our teens so having separate space upstairs and them downstairs worked well but I’m not sure it’s clear from the website that the only way to access the downstairs room is via outside steps so it is completely separate accommodation. If we had younger children this would have been an issue as I’m sure parents would not want them so separate at night. Staff are all lovely and friendly. There are some language issues at times but nothing that worried us but I mention only as if a 5 star hotel would not really expect. I agree with other reviews this is 4 star hotel with 5 star rooms. The restaurants are nice but hated the QR codes and lack of any interaction with waiters recommendations etc that this led to. Also many like to keep phones off at dinner time and enjoy precious family time but using QR codes to order food makes this not possible. However we were given menus a few times so I think former complaints about this have been listened to. There is not much variety of food but what we had was v nice and I thought prices were reasonable. Alcohol is on the pricier side but still cheaper than UK. Breakfast was good but not outstanding however beautiful views out to sea and island. It was so busy however which ruined the experience a little, but if you go before 8.30 far less crowds. Swimming pools were lovely and not crowded. The spa was wonderful highly recommend. If booking boat trips wander down to nearby village you will pay at least half what you will at hotel. I would certainly recommend this beautiful hotel but can’t help feeling a few little personalised touches (interaction with waiting staff, a welcome drink, etc) would really make this hotel a true 5 star
