This spectacular resort is located in the Horubadhoo Island on the Baa Atoll, less than 30 minutes from Male International Airport, offering great comforts and first-class facilities, including 2 restaurants, a spa and a wide variety of water sports and recreational activities. The elegant villas are beautifully appointed and equipped with all the necessary amenities to provide a pleasant and relaxing stay. Guests can enjoy buffet breakfast at the beach front restaurant or have a taste of seafood dishes at the main restaurant. Light meals and drinks are also available at any of the 4 bars. Royal island resort - Maldives

It was excited.. I had used domestic flight for 25 Mins then speedboat for 15 Mins. Is not a big island (I like it). They have a lot of activities and SPA center. There are 2 restaurants. The team was friendly and cooperative and special thanks to Mr. Noble

Quality resort in a Snorkelling paradise

Staff were excellent and were all friendly and welcoming. The room was old but very well maintained, clean and comfortable. Food and Drinks was plentiful and always lots of choice. Room service was outstanding and our room Villa attended Jeyan went above and beyond keeping our room clean and mini bar stocked and made our stay special. The journey there is very tiring and particularly the return journey ( 3 planes and a speed boat) however the late check out on last day was very welcome and allowed us to enjoy this fabulous resort a bit longer. Snorkelling was great once we found out how to access the house reef at high tide safely, lots of fish (too many to mention) and sharks. Lots of sandy lagoons around the island where you could see some fish but the lagoons were great entertainment to watch the juvenile black tip sharks feeding on the thousands on small fish in the lagoons.

Unforgettable holiday! The Island offers incredible nature, simple typical maldivian accommodation. The staff is professional, very kind and smiling. what more could I want? The only suggestion I would give them is to review the prices of extras and activities because with such high prices they constantly lose opportunities. For example, we chose two in total instead of probably 2 per day

Our stay at Royal Island Resort & Spa in the Maldives was fantastic. From arrival to departure, everything was well taken care of, making our experience truly enjoyable. Service & Hospitality The staff was excellent, and we’d like to give special thanks to Noble 🥰 our supervisor who was always attentive, efficient and friendly. His quick response time and professionalism made a big difference in our stay. Dining Experience The food was varied, fresh, and delicious from breakfast to dinner. A special thanks to 🥰Habib and Abdullah 🥰who were always friendly and helpful, ensuring a great dining experience. Spa Sinta 🥰 gave an excellent massage, making the experience relaxing and refreshing.💆‍♀️ Overall Experience 😍 Our time at Royal Island Resort & Spa was amazing. Flawless hospitality, stunning scenery, and great service made this trip truly special. A big thank you to Aaron 🥰(The Manager) and the entire team. We highly recommend this resort for a relaxing Maldives getaway.🥰🏝️

Nice but old

The island is a real paradise, the nature is beautiful, it’s all green and clean. We had a spacious villa with a pool and the staff was very welcoming and helpful. However, it’s an old property, with screeching floors, gaps between doors, that allow lizards to come in and old furniture and bathroom facilities. The food at the bar and a la carte restaurants is good, if you are not on all inclusive premium package it will cost you. The food in the main restaurant is average, the selection is poor. Beware that the island is about 25 minutes boat ride and another 30 minutes flight away from Male. Make sure you are not sent away from the island too early, like we were and end up waiting for your flight for 5-6 hours in an old and very simplistic airport. We were promised a lounge to compensate for the wait, but it turned to be a food court access.
