We had high hopes for this all-inclusive resort, but our experience was far from what we expected. Upon arriving at 4:45PM after a long day of traveling with no food, we were shocked to discover that no food options were available. Despite being advertised as "all-inclusive," the hotel has very strict meal times, leaving us with nothing to eat when we arrived for a few hours. The lobby was another disappointment. During the day, it was dim and looked like an abandoned building, with no lights on at all. At night, the lighting improved slightly, but it still felt poorly lit and unwelcoming. One major frustration was not being able to get beach towels upon arrival. We were told towels would only be available at 8AM the following day, so if you're an early riser and want to head to the beach or pool before then, you'll have to go without a towel. The front desk guy, Mustafa was extremely rude and had a terrible attitude. On the positive side, the bellman (possibly named Ebenezer) who brought our suitcases to our room was very kind and helpful. As for the food, while there was plenty of it, the quality was lacking. It was bland and tasteless. To make matters worse, the cafeteria felt chaotic, with people rushing in like it was their last meal. It's probably best to wait about 30 minutes after it opens to avoid the crowds. The room itself was also underwhelming. The air conditioning barely worked, and even after multiple complaints, we were told that it was the best their system could do because they didn’t want people to get sick. On top of that, our “upgraded” room was located near a loud music area that played from 9 PM to 3 AM. Exhausted from traveling, we requested a quieter room but were told to wait until the next morning, leaving us with little sleep that first night. The hotel is clearly showing its age. Things were broken, the elevator had cracks that were duct-taped, the shower was dirty and moldy, and the pillows were uncomfortable. The towels were thin and old, adding to the rundown feel of the place. Communication was also difficult as barely anyone spoke English. We had to rely heavily on Google Translate just to get simple requests across. On the bright side, the Wi-Fi was decent, but it took some time to get connected since they needed to enter us into their system. Overall, this hotel might have been a 5-star establishment when it first opened, but now it falls far short. It seems to cater mainly to elderly guests and families, and we noticed a significant number of Russian guests during our stay. Lastly, our experience with the towel guy was particularly annoying—he practically forced us to book a massage just to get a beach towel, even after repeatedly saying no. Sadly, this was not the relaxing getaway we had hoped for. We ended up switching hotels for a better vacation.
