A fantastic hotel in a great location.

We stayed here for a week at the beginning of April and thoroughly enjoyed our holiday. The hotel’s location is excellent and we walked to several beaches, restaurants, the harbour and old town from there. We were able to explore this part of Rhodes on foot. The hotel itself is so well maintained and is absolutely spotlessly clean. The room was lovely and the bed the comfiest I’ve slept in, in a hotel. The minibar and daily tea and coffee supplies were appreciated. The shower is great-a powerful, hot blast. We enjoyed the breakfasts very much as there was something to suit everyone’s needs. It was a great start to our day. We ate in the restaurant on our first night and it was very good. We particularly enjoyed the chicken souvlaki. The staff are extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful. We couldn’t fault our stay.

Fabulous stay!

We had a fabulous week at Horizon City. From the moment we stepped inside, tired after an evening flight, to the moment we left we were looked after so well by every member of staff. Nothing was too much trouble and all the staff had a smile and cheery greeting. The hotel was spotless inside and out, and has a peaceful air about it - helping you fully relax. It is extremely well placed for exploring the old town, harbour and beaches. Our room 528 was huge, also nice and quiet, we had booked a sea view and it was lovely to look at a sea of such vivid blues it has to be seen to be believed! The rooms have been designed very well with enough space for all your toiletries and other belongings. Great areas in the bathroom for the same. Good sized fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. Breakfast runs until 10:30 and we found it to be extremely busy around 9/9:30. On a couple of days we had an earlier start to go on excursions and found it much calmer around 8 o’clock. There was so much choice and the staff did a great job at keeping everything topped up. They also very efficiently clear and clean tables as soon as they become vacant so we didn’t wait long to be seated. Unusually for us we did eat in the hotel a few times in the evening. The food was good and well priced, as were the drinks. The cocktails were amazing and also well priced. There was live music on one night we were there and he was happy to play a request for us! We had a late flight back home and had asked on check in if a late check out would be possible. We had to wait until the day before we were due to leave to confirm if it was possible. We were able to keep the room until 2pm for a €20 fee which was much appreciated. I really couldn’t fault Horizon city at all and would highly recommend it if you like to be in the centre of things!

excellent hotel ,good food, nice staff , everyone was very friendly . we really enjoyed out holidays there. The island is very beautiful .Many sightseeings to visit Hospitality wherever we gone.!! we definitely recommend this hotel if you want to relax .

A very warm welcome with a glass of prosecco! Comfortable, well equipped and clean rooms. Breakfast is excellent - though don’t miss the hot options near the pool. Very good restaurant, serving very reasonably priced and well presented dishes. The chicken souvlaki is outstanding - one of the best I have tasted in Greece! And the staff are very welcoming and helpful. Also, the hotel is very conveniently situated by Mandraki Harbour and the walk by the harbour is an attractive route to the Old Town.

Enjoyable stay at this city centre hotel

Central location close to the Medieval City , harbour, beach and the New Town area with numerous restaurants and bars within walking distance. Generally , the restaurants were very good and of a higher standard than usual. We had a 6th floor sea view room which was good , including the view , suspect some sea view rooms wouldn’t have been as good . It was a little noisy with the usual bikes but also fairly early most mornings construction work starting on a site about 100m towards the sea . Breakfast was ok but thought not as good as some other reviews. Restaurant got a little crowded at times and is quite small . After trying the hot buffet part next to the pool a couple of times I decided to keep to the rest as it wasn’t that hot …. If you want to lounge by the pool a lot, maybe not the hotel for you as it’s a small area and virtually surrounded by highish buildings . So sunshine a bit of a problem plus not that appealing. However, we went to the nearest beach which was much better. If you visit the beach hire the €15 sun beds ( for two and parasol) in front of the casino , not the €20 ones. There are numerous boat trips out of the harbour . We took a speedboat ( can’t remember the name but red and think the only speedboats) to Lindos and then Symi . You really need to book the trips as they get busy when the cruise ships are in. Recommended. Go to the City Supermarket opposite the restaurant corner of the hotel and ask for a member card - they gave me one and I think it gets you about 10% off ! Overall a very enjoyable stay and we really liked Rhodes Town .
