Rhodes Bay Hotel

Just returned from a 11 day half board basis stay at The Rhodes Bay Hotel and Spa. Both my wife and myself had a fantastic time. We stayed in a twin room with a mountain view. The room was modern and the bed was very comfortable. The room was cleaned on a regular basis with clean towels every day. On arrival we had a bottle of water and fresh fruit. The cleaning staff were very helpful. The food in the restaraunt was fantastic with a great selection. The restaraunt staff were very friendly, helpful and polite. Service was very quick. The same can be applied to the bar staff. The hotel had a lovely relaxed feel to it. There were no issues with sunbeds and we used the pool on the roof which was quieter. Reception staff were very helpful and polite. A great hotel and its position was great for visiting Rhodes Town. We would definitely go back again.

This hotel was amazing and we couldn’t ask for more! It was the perfect stay for our holiday in Greece. From the moment we arrived the staff were very helpful and approachable check in was quick and personable. We arrived a little later and still had the option of food until 10pm which was very helpful. The hotel is very large and the facilities are located in different areas it is worthwhile exploring the grounds and facilities. It is signposted well. We found lots of areas to relax and drink. The rooms were clean and spacious we opted for a bungalow to have a more private stay. It was fantastic only I stone throw away from the 11th floor pool. Another fantastic appeal, with many pools and sun beds there is a variety of options. This ensured sunbed availability everyday. One of our concerns be fore coming was whether we were would be able to get sunbeds and every single day even at 12pm we were able to easily get some. Food was delicious and plenty of options, we initially had half board options but paid for all inclusive as we found the food and the variety of the drinks on all inclusive very reasonable. Staff were very attentive, as soon as drinks or plates were empty they were cleared and re ordered promptly. Lastly we had a late flight on our leaving day and we were apprehensive about not having anything to do. The hotel were very accommodating, check out isn’t until 12pm which provides time in the morning to have breakfast. We were able to use our all inclusive until the moment we left, use the gym facilities and they had shower and bathrooms to wash in right at the end along with luggage storage. Overall we were so happy with our stay, and would stay here in a heartbeat again. Thank you to the staff for assisting us in the perfect stay.

All in all I liked this hotel but there were a few downsides. Few of them are general and others more personal. Point 1-6 are negative things, in the end are a few positives. 1. Most of the staff was very friendly and always helpful, except the staff in the reception could have been friendlier. 2. The room (Deluxe room with sea view) was very nice, only downside was that I had ants in my bathroom that kept spreading in everywhere in my room and ended up in my glass of water.. not something you'd expect from a 5-Star hotel. Asked the reception about it and they told me there was nothing they could do and that it is nature.. 3. When you arrive you are being given a list of all the restaurants & bars and which are included in AI. A map of the hotel and where things are located would be nice. Should be fairly easy to put it into the app. 4. The food offer is very good if you love meat. If you don't there always salad and some vegetables and from time to time a special veggie option which wasn't great during my stay. Also the vegetables were mostly barely cooked and not really enjoyable. 5. The bathroom doesn't have any plugs which left me blowdrying my hair in the room. Please just put one plug in the bathroom next time you renovate.. 6. I had a 20% off voucher from my travel company for the spa services but when I asked on of the spa staff they told me that they never heard of it and that they cannot accept it even though I was given it by the hotel reception upon arrival.. But there were also some positives, the hotel is fairly quiet, which is good to relax. The pools are nice and the private beach is very clean, as is the whole hotel. Finally, I'm not sure if I'd return to this hotel especially since my travel company told me that they will probably not offer it again.

It is always a pleasure for us to relax on the island of Rhodes and of course the best Rhodes bay hotel on the island! The service is always on top, customer care is seen in everything. The hotel staff is always ready to do everything to make your stay unforgettable. The service at the hotel is beyond praise! It was nice to spend my birthday at the hotel, all your dreams came true!!!! I would also like to mention the car rental at the hotel. We explored the most secret corners and found out where the wine roads of Rhodes Island lead.

Aegoes spa was a very mixed experience. The massage was very well done and personal was very nice in the beginning. The massage therapists Maria and Alexandra were exceptionally kind and professional. We were very disappointed when we exploded the facilities at the spa. The steam bath was mild and boring.The sauna was not turned on in the beginning and we didn’t break a sweat at the highest temperature. Also there was a misunderstanding with the gift products afterwards. It was only product for group and the individual. Even though we paid a fair price for it. When the personal was confronted the issues the manager laughed in face as if were stupid. This made the experience un enjoyable and unpleasant. I would only recommend the massage and the not for the facilities at the spa.
