Great experience Can’t fault it, we had the villa room with pool and it was great, we were here to celebrate my 30th birthday and I had an unforgettable experience Hopefully we will be able to come back in a few years time. Staff are lovely food is great, pool is so relaxing, 10/10 experience Thank you

Relaxing hotel

A beautiful hotel. We only stayed 3 nights but never had a problem getting a sunbed, even later in the day. The room with plunge pool was small but had everything we needed and was clean and comfortable. All the staff were friendly. We had a few issues in the restaurant, once where my order was forgotten (we were not charged) and we weren’t told that omelettes could be made to order at breakfast until we saw someone else order one on our last day. It was a very quiet hotel which I loved as I could totally relax. Taxis are extremely expensive but there is a bus that goes to Fira and costs €2.20 each way and takes 20 minutes.

Beautiful hotel with shops and beach nearby. The room had good space for 3 (1 extra bed) with aircondition. The restaurant has Very good breakfast and amazing dinner. Lunch and drinks by the pool was amazing

An oasis on a beautiful island

7 night stay after 3 nights on the caldera side and it was quite sublime. We would happily return but there were some niggles. We had a plunge pool room and I had requested it have some sun. The patio was exactly south facing with one small 1.5m umbrella. I’d expected a part covered veranda like the photos. Problem was solved by requesting and getting almost immediately a second umbrella. Would have been very difficult to sit out otherwise. There also needs to be a reed screen along the wall to the neighbouring property as when standing they look directly into this pool area and a reed screen to block off the cleaning staff collection area which again looks directly into to you. Photos included. After we’d been shown to the room I walked on to the deck and went straight through it. A short plank length was not attached and I stood on the end not above a strut and down it went. Once the front desk was told it was rectified in minutes. People really must let the hotel know if they see a problem. Previous guests must have noticed? Umbrellas by pool are also 1.5m. Need to be a metre bigger for suitable shade. There is a bar at the far end of the hotel. Busy by day but empty at night. A bar at the restaurant end that you could use and sit in this area would be beneficial in the evening. Very few wines by the glass or a 500ml carafe like restaurants along the front. Our room had a gate to enter its steps. Just annoying that this was more often left open. The positives would take me pages to write. The staff are amazing. Nancy on the front desk, Maria by the pool were brilliant but really so was everyone. Lovely greeting on arrival. Chilled flannel, drink and sweet treat. I did mention Radisson Rewards early check in but we could not get to our room until 3pm on the dot. We had a bottle of fizz in the room on arrival and at the end of the week it was my birthday and another bottle was bought to the room and a cake with Happy Birthday and my age. Really lovely touch. The entrance sets you up for what to expect. Cross the water to the oasis. Service to your lounger by the pool which we frequented on occasion although our plunge pool was more a small pool we would happily have stayed in! The pool area is as the photos. Whoever designed the space has amazing vision. The colour and pattern of the pool tiles is a dream to look at. Plenty of comfy loungers as constant movement and if anyone tries to reserve a space walking off their towel is swiftly removed. The breakfast was perfect. Varied selection of hot and cold. Fizz every day. Coffee order taken at table. Perfectly cooked scrambled eggs. Evening menu limited. More expensive than the plethora of restaurants along the front that are minutes away. Food looked lovely but we never ate there. Room was brilliant. Turn down each evening with two small water bottles. We had a Nespresso which was replenished daily. Toiletries stocked daily. Shower was spot on. Robe and slippers in our room. Air con chilled the room to freezing. Fridge or mini bar is mentioned on the website, I thought they were the same, but not. We had a mini bar that looked like a fridge but didn’t chill like a fridge. Space to put a bottle of Rosé from the supermarket but after two days still not fully cold. Not sure why a fridge is not a fridge? It is a hotel that stands out from the rest in an area that it could be slightly out of place. The Main Street is to the right out of the hotel and down what looks like a driveway to another hotel but then you pop out at the shops. Then left to the sea. You can turn left from the hotel then next right to get straight to the sea. Either way only a 5 mins walk. Plenty of shops and restaurants. Open air cinema 15 min walk up the hill. We would happily return as overall it is really an oasis and the staff are so attentive and friendly.
