Pullman Phuket Panwa Beach Resort

Don’t be deceived by the photos of this hotel, it is tired and it shows. The rooms didn’t dictate a 5 star hotel. I booked all inclusive package and found the food and choices very mediocre and underwhelming, food you wanted you had to pay extra for which I found annoying. Some of the staff at the edge poolside restaurant were downright ignorant, one example was I couldn’t sit at a table because I hadn’t paid extra for the buffet. No evening entertainment so after the lack lustre evening meal we ventured outside the hotel to the cafes. Check in was a disaster was given a ticket and told to sit and wait to be called, 10 minutes later I had to go upto the reception to ask and they said they had forgot about us, not surprised though as there were guests complaining about the construction noise ruining there stay, not a good start to the holiday. We were given a deluxe sea view room that was directly over the gym that is open 24hrs a day, the first 2 nights we couldn’t sleep as people were banging the weights in the gym into the early hours . Sadly this hotel is a 3.5* in my opinion. I won’t be back.

We just returned from a lovely stay at the Pullman Hotel & Resort Panwa Beach and wanted to share our experience—especially to highlight some truly outstanding staff members who made our trip memorable. From the moment we arrived, the service stood out as the defining feature of the resort. Traveling from the U.S., the warmth, attentiveness, and care we received felt like a welcome culture shift. We were traveling as a family of six, and the staff truly made us feel like we were part of their family. A few people really deserve special recognition: Aey (Suthiprapha Sa-Moejai), the Assistant Restaurant Manager, made sure we always had a great table and greeted us like regulars each day. She was gracious, efficient, and made dining a pleasure. Tiara, who was a trainee (hard to believe!), impressed us with her calm professionalism, warmth, and genuine attentiveness. She’s an absolute star in the making. Aun, a senior server at the restaurant, consistently took great care of us. She remembered our preferences and always ensured we were well looked after with a kind and friendly presence. And finally, Ice, our go-to server each night at the lobby bar during happy hour. She remembered all our drink preferences—even when we changed them—and managed everything with a smile and flawless attention to detail. The resort itself is clean, modern, and quiet, with a beautiful oceanfront setting and large pools. We booked as part of a Luxury Escapes package, and the amenities were generous—three meals a day, daily cocktail hour, spa treatments, and more. The rooms were exactly as shown in the photos—clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. A few things to note for future travelers: The main pool is only 1.2 meters deep, which is great for kids, but I would have appreciated a deeper adult pool option. The resort is a bit off the beaten path—about 30 minutes from Chalong Pier and an hour from the airport. It’s ideal if you’re looking to relax in a quieter part of Phuket, but something to consider if you're planning lots of excursions like scuba diving or snorkeling (as we did). We traveled with 8-year-old twins, and while we didn’t use the Kids Club, it looked better suited for younger children (toddlers to maybe 6 or 7). That said, the views from the lobby are stunning, the vibe is tranquil, and the overall experience was overwhelmingly positive. The staff truly made the stay special, and we’ll be recommending the Pullman Panwa to friends and family looking for a relaxing, service-driven vacation in Phuket. Highly recommend.

Hello, when you book a room for 3 People, 2 adults and 1 children 11 years, the hotel provide room with two small bed and say to you , sleep with your kid ( 11 years) on 90cm same bed . ( same bed for two people). When you ask to find solution , they find solution pay more 1750 bath,/night more to just add extra bed on the smallest room. You book and paid for 3 People and in reality you have only to small bed !!!!!!! Pullman ???? You are serious ????? Dont book this hotel, it not a good choice. The room are old school , the only positive point is the view, but you can find best around

Pullman hotel and staff were fantastic especially Takky on reception who was very professional and could not be more helpful. Gaile showed us to our villa and was also very professional and knowledgeable about the resort and room showing us around. The beach at this resort is beautiful.
