Pullman Phuket Arcadia Naithon Beach

We stayed at the Pullman at the end of our Thailand adventure to celebrate a significant birthday and had the most amazing time. We upgraded to one of the pool villa rooms which was beautiful & the pictures on the website don’t do it justice! You enter into your private space through a lockable wooden door & on the left is your covered day bed & in front of you are your extra comfy sun-loungers overlooking your own infinity pool & the ocean. The pool wraps around the whole of your living space and your bath ( the rest of your bathroom is inside) and is large enough to have a decent swim & what a view! When you enter the villa, you see an enormous bed and sitting area, your walk in wardrobe and then down the corridor to your huge bathroom area. The space is well appointed and has everything you might need – including a Nespresso machine – and more importantly milk and a milk frother! There are so many light switches it takes quite a while to find out where to turn things on & off!! The shower was great with gorgeous toiletries. Really fast stable wifi. The aircon wasn’t the best & we did get quite hot quite often & the fan above the bed had two settings of either ineffectual or helicopter downdraft! Although the friendly maintenance team visited several times they somehow fused the lights & weren’t able to fix the DND switch or doorbell so we did miss our lovely housekeeping team sometimes. You can walk down to the main hotel facilities and up to the gym, but the hills are very steep & you might want to use the buggies sometimes to get around – they always came quickly if we called for one and the team were always smiley and courteous The gym is at the top of the resort and has great Technogym equipment – usually it wasn’t too busy apart from my last day when it was so busy I couldn’t do a workout – the hotel was hosting a conference & the number of delegates made everything too busy, the noise level at breakfast was uncomfortable. Breakfast selection is huge & the Elements team service was great. The restaurants both serve good food & the staff make them special, in fact all staff at the resort were so courteous and go out of their way to help you. The Bowls & More Deli offers a great selection of healthy options for lunch. The resort is child friendly, but that does mean the main pool always seemed very busy & noisy. The adult only pool next to the gym was a lot quieter! You can use the stairs to get to the beach and local shops & restaurants – you can also use the hourly shuttle to go there – or they will take you down to the main entrance in one of the buggies if you don’t want to wait. The spa is a very calm space with lovely staff & I had a great massage. Thanks to everyone for making my birthday so special and making it such a memorable stay, I hope to return one day.

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights, the last stop on our trip around Thailand and they checked us into the most amazing room. Even our balcony was furnished with a large comfy sofa. The hotel, food, staff, rooms and facilites were all fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble. For example, I found my pillow a little hard and phoned reception to see if they offered any softer ones, not expecting them to. Within 5 minutes a member of the team appeared with the softest down pillows for us. We would like to say a big thank you to Albert, Pinky, Brett and the team for making our stay so special. We would also like to say a big thank you to Jinny in the Vero Restaurant for her amazing service. We will definitely return upon our next visit to Phuket.

Hoping to book my 7th stay soon. - Airport pickup service is perfect - You can walk directly from the main swimming pool down to the beach on a dedicated path - MBar (beach style bar high up in the resort) is a wonderful place (drinks, food, view and Staff) - A huge choice for breakfast - Hotel drivers are always very nice. - Pool table in excellent quality - Multiple options for eating and drinking - Various special attention throughout the stay A special thank you to Albert, Brett and Urs.
