A good overall experience! This hotel exudes warmth and hospitality. While it has a traditional style, it is spotlessly clean and impeccably maintained a real testament to the care put into every detail by all of the staff. We traveled as a family of four, including our 6-year-old with special needs and our 9-year-old, and were joined by grandparents for part of our stay. Despite being well-traveled, this was our first time visiting Turkey, and a good introduction. Although it seems early in the season we could see the potential. Our Room We stayed in a Junior Suite on L3, which was spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped—ideal for a family of four. The villas looked lovely and would be a great option later in the season, as the pools are not heated and would be a bit cool in early April. A small note—the air conditioning in the hotel is centrally controlled and was only blowing warm air during our stay. However, in the villas, the air conditioning is self-controlled year-round, which is something to keep in mind for future visits. Dining Experience The à la carte restaurants were hands down the best when it came to service and food quality. Although they come with a €5 surcharge per person over six they are absolutely worth it. We recommend trying them all and alternating between à la carte and buffet dining for variety. -Favorites: Italian and Turkish restaurants were our favourites. Asian had potential but we went on opening night sushi and noodles were great - Buffet: A good option for dinner but can become repetitive, and food is sometimes not as warm as expected. - Breakfast: A mixed experience—great bakery bread, yogurt, and juice, but the selection of meat was unusual and quite processed. Eggs, while plentiful, were often cold unless you waited for a fresh batch. - Service: Consistently excellent across all restaurants and bars, with a great drinks menu (although more zero/diet options would be appreciated). - Kid-Friendly Buffet:A separate buffet next to the bread and soup area, giving children the chance to select their own food a lovely touch! - Noise Levels: The buffet can get quite busy and noisy but only at peak times. Our daughter needed headphones on two occasions, so families with sensitive children may want to time their meals accordingly or use the restaurant’s Pools & Facilities The hotel has the perfect selection of pools - Main pool (spacious and lively) - Relax pool (adult zone, not heated) - Activity pool with slides (open 10–12 and 2–4) -Indoor pool good size and temperature The large grass areas, poolside deck, and beach (just a 2-minute walk away) were great additions. A few notes: - Indoor pool was a good option on colder days, as it was nice and warm. - Slippery surfaces: Be cautious near the activity and baby pool, as wet floors or feet can be extremely slippery. - Kids’ pool by activity pool: It would be great if this was heated, as it was too cold for use in April, even with wetsuits. Evening Entertainment - Kids' disco (8:30–9:00 PM) was a fun same Evey night but a good way for little ones to have fun. - Shows (9:15 PM)were excellent, highly entertaining, and impressive featuring music, acrobatics, and dance performances. - Live music (more adult) was on the terrace & I think a nightclub option followed It could get chilly in April bring a light coat / fleece scarf for outdoor evening entertainment Smoking Policy It was great to see designated smoking and non-smoking zones throughout the hotel. However, I feel the sun-beds by kids' pools should be strictly non-smoking - it seems obvious to me but unfortunately, not everyone. Having designated poolside smoking zone could help prevent children from being exposed to smoke. Staff were great at asking people in non smoking bar and restaurant areas to not smoke which was greatly appreciated. Thank you Daytime Activities & Kids' Club The hotel’s activity program for adults was well-paced with the team being friendly and never pushy - they struck the perfect balance. For kids: -The kids' club was safe, well-equipped, and welcoming -Cookie, was particularly fantastic making our autistic daughter feel comfortable and included. - although great for our daughter. For older kids (8–13), the activities were a bit limited early in the season, as only one club was running instead of the usual two. After raising this with the hotel, they added a kids' football session and adjusted some adult activities to be family-friendly, but options remained somewhat limited. - Our son spent much of his time looking for someone to play table tennis, air hockey, or table football—all of which were free, but having both clubs running would have helped him to make friends and solved this. Outstanding Guest Relations service: From the moment we arrived, guest relations provided first-class service! Every interaction was positive Even when we had a few issue’s and they were always ready to assist. If you need anything, just ask whether it’s extra pillows, poolside drinks, maintenance requests, or activity schedules. You can visit their desk next to reception or message them on WhatsApp they are incredibly responsive and eager to ensure you have the best experience. This team is a real credit to the hotel and seem empowered by the management! Final Thoughts Since we visited just after the hotel reopened for the season, not all restaurants and bars were operational and some activities were limited for older kids. Additionally, the pools were a little cool. Despite this, the potential of the hotel was undeniable, and we would consider returning (although we rarely go back to the same place) - perhaps during May or October half-term when temperatures are warmer and the hotel is in full swing. Also as there is lots of shade if you can cope with high temperatures of summer this would be a good option. For families looking for a friendly, clean, well-run hotel with great pools and attentive service this is a quality choice.
