Fantastic Week in Paradise 🏝️

Just returned from a fantastic stay at Ozen Life Maadhoo. After a long flight and a pretty choppy boat transfer (the weather took a turn for the worse just as we boarded!!) we arrived to a lovely warm welcome from the staff and complimentary foot treatment which was extremely welcome. We stayed in a 2 bedroom Earth Pool Pavilion Suite which was stunning. The amenities and location were great and nothing was too much trouble for our butler, Ayush who is a credit to the resort. The bikes to get around were a nice extra touch. The staff in general were some of the friendliest and helpful we have come across whilst travelling although there are too many to mention by name. It was also lovely to see the General Manager around the island daily welcoming guests and interacting with staff, they really did feel like a big family. The food and drink was great across all restaurants, our personal favourite was IndoCeylon although my son said the burgers were the best he’d ever had! The underwater restaurant was a great experience and Lomu for lunch was not to be missed. The spa treatments were heavenly in such an idyllic setting. We upgraded to a Balinese massage twice which was amazing whilst our son loved the paddleboards, jet skis and gym. There were a things that could have been improved for us. A wider choice of spirits in the room mini bar and the option to takeaway pizzas from the pool bar (boxes weren’t available). Whilst the gin bar was lovely, it wasn’t very well signposted so always seemed very quiet. We would have loved to do more yoga but we love lie in on holiday so the 7am start was a bit early! It would be good if there were some sunset options. None of these impacted our holiday in any way and are just little things that would have improved it for us. There’s loads more positive things we could say and we can’t wait to return in the future.

Unforgettable Experience with Exceptional Service

Had an amazing time at OZEN Life Maadhoo. From the moment we arrived at the airport, everything was seamless. The property is absolutely stunning, with beautiful villas and breathtaking views. The staff were wonderful, especially Ayush, who was always attentive, warm, and ready to help with anything we needed. He went above and beyond to make sure our trip was memorable, and we truly felt taken care of throughout our stay. Highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing Maldives experience!

Ozen Life Maadhoo - Incredibly Special #13

Again, everything was perfect and the attention to detail from the staff was as always so very special. We spent 11 nights here and had an amazing time. The accomodation, food and activities were all superb and the all inclusive package was the first one we had ever used which we felt was value for money due to the high quality of food and drink and the range of activities included. I would give it more than 5 star rating if I could. I have never been to a resort were the senior team are so visible and accessible and the whole team could not do anymore to help us during our stay and provide an excellent service. My daughter has special needs and they were able to deal with her requirements and our requests with ease, nothing was an issue. The culinary team ran by Alok provided such a broad range of superb food and when they say things like 'please don't be restricted by the menu please tell us what you want and we will make it' it shows you there skill and brilliant customer service. I would like to give a special mention to all the staff individually but there are so many. However a special mention goes to all the landscapers for keeping the place looking pristine at all times - they work very hard, the whole team at JDV especially Anuj who makes a great cocktail. The restaurants team especially Rahul Dinesh, Hakeen, and Zuhuwan. Nadheem our excellent boat trip and snorkeling guide. Rubal the hard working room attendant and finally Ayush our Butler (personal concierge) who missed nothing.

A brilliant family holiday

A brilliant stay! The Scottish surgeon staying in the beach villa next to ours smiled broadly when I asked her if it was her first visit to the resort. “It’s our 13th,” she said, adding they have already booked for next February. It was our eighth time in the Maldives and the third with our daughter and grandchildren. We had an amazing 12 days in two beach villas with pools on the sunset side of the small island. The Ozen team are quite remarkable and have a genuine desire to make your stay memorable. Highlights included M6M underwater restaurant with its staff of smiling mermaids (thank you Muskan), a trip in the semi-submersible boat, chats with the stylish marine biologist who led the snorkelling sessions and the fishing expedititions. The food was delicious. It’s clever, and saves wastage, to offer a starter and dessert dinner buffet in The Palms with an a la carte main course. The steaks were fab and the team would often ask if they could make you something special - we had some great Thai food there which wasn’t on the menu. The accommodation was spacious, the villa pool one of the best we’ve experienced and the resort was clean and well managed. They’re in the throes of a discreet accommodation makeover and plans are afoot to alter the Peking and Indoceylon restaurants, both of which were very good but only serve dinner. If I could wave a magic wand I would ask for another lunch venue as there is Palms, the pool bar with a fairly limited menu and Lonu, an adult-only Maldivian eaterie. Big thankyous to Forty, Raju, Siri, Samrat, Arok,Dinesh,Sambasivam, Vipon …in fact, all the staff were attentive, kind and sweet! And our granddaughter was throughly spoiled on her 8th birthday with two cakes, a petal-strewn bath, a message on the bed and lots of birthday greetings! Elisabeth the general manager is very accessible and is to be commended for nurturing such a great culture of service and excellence.
