Beautiful hotel in a good location, clean rooms with a beautiful view of the sea cleaned every day. delicious food, large selection, everyone will find something for themselves. the beach at the hotel was beautiful and a big plus was the bar. I also recommend the animations led by shagy David and mr Sophian.

My experience at Orka Lotus was fantastic. I had a wonderful time here and really enjoyed the quality time spent. Even though we visited at the end of the season, it didn’t affect how much we enjoyed our stay. The animation team—Shaggy, Sophian, and David—was incredible, keeping us entertained throughout. While many excursions were closed due to the season, we still found some great activities to enjoy. Overall, it was a memorable experience!

Fantastic autumn break with the family

Absolutely brilliant hotel… The moment we checked in we were driven to our rooms in a golf cart but this was 2230 so we were unable to appreciate how amazing our room really was until we woke up in the morning. I cannot explain how amazing the view we had was over the small promenade, beach and sea over to the islands it was breathtaking. Walking round the hotel during our week stay plenty of rooms had a similar view but I’m convinced we had the best room in the hotel. Food was great, plenty to choose from, breakfasts were really good plenty of choice and all cooked perfectly, although most days I only ate fruit. Lunchtimes at the pool bar were busy at times especially waiting for kebabs and pizza which always got taken as soon as they were cooked, but it was worth the wait. I also ate some of the savoury crepes on the beach which were delicious although again there was always a queue, the lady working on them couldn’t keep up with demand, again worth the wait. Tea time was always the best loads to choose from loads of different meats impossible to get bored of and unless you put a bit of everything on your plate you didn’t have to eat the same thing twice, lots of deserts too far too many to be able to eat one of each in a week. No complaints when it came to drinks either beer was good cocktails were better and were stronger during the evening which is a good thing! The cocktails at the lobby bar were my favourites and if passing id always get one whatever time it was. Pools were cold but that’s due to the time of year but the sea was lovely and warm especially in the afternoon that’s where we spent most lazy days on the beach and in the sea. Location was perfect away from the resorts enough to feel quiet but still close enough to walk to Icmeler in about 20 minutes or so. Right on the beach and again that view! Rooms were cleaned every day but could probably have been cleaned slightly better if I’m being picky and some areas of the hotel could have probably done with a hose down on the paths etc but it wasn’t too bad. We didn’t stay up for much of the entertainment but what we did see after the kids stuff was great especially on freedom day. I would highly recommend this hotel for an autumn break and would definitely return one day.

Not quite a 5 star

We travelled as a couple with a 6 year old, we paid extra for a sea view and this was really nice. The hotel is very large and depending on where your room was it could be quite a distance between different facilities, and the hotel is situated on many levels. Overall the hotel was ok, but not quite a 5 star, there was no wow factor at all. The staff although friendly never went above or beyond what was expected. The food was very poor. there was lots of different dishes, but they were bland, and lukewarm. There are areas of the hotel that look very old and dated, a lot of the balconies look out onto corridors or the road, not exactly pretty. I and my wife both had stomach upsets, whilst there, and it seems like a few other guests suffered as well. As it was the end of the season, you could see that the hotel was running things down and generrally getting ready for closure, the evening entertainment was also very poor. Drinks were plentiful, and all the spirits were branded. Would we return? NO.
