Ocean El Faro - El Beso Adults Only All inclusive

Excellent service from all employees also the rooms are very clean . The Bar service and food service has been excellent, without complaint. Wilton was very nice. Went to the spa and that was very nice. All amenities so far have been beyond expectations.

Emmanuel was the best. Eduardo was also very kind. Lovely smiles from all the staff. Leonela was very efficient and kind. Greattttttttttttt vacayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy. Thankssssssssssssssssssssses. Sweet memoriessssssssdssssssssessssd

The best thing was the friendliness of the staff. Especially Angel Martínez. Who is a friendly professional, helpful and attentive worker, who seems to really care and enjoy his job. I was given an upgrade to the adult section which I really appreciated. Angel was very helpful when I was given a room without the sea view I requested and very promptly arranged for this to be sorted on my first night, without delay!☺️Thank you Angel for all your help. A couple of other stand out staff were, Lucie the cleaner I met on the first day was also very sweet and the waiter From the snack bar called Randy was very funny and always made me feel welcome. Even though I was rushing on my last day . Overall the accommodation and staff were excellent and I thoroughly enjoyed my first trip to the Dominican Republic and Ocean EL Faro🥰

This resort was very underwhelming. I picked it based on the good reviews, and my experience didn't measure up. While pretty at night when lit up, the rooms didn't feel clean - at first we were put in a room that faced the back and a service elevator, no view at all, and it stank of mildew and mold. So, we asked for a dehumidifier, it took 2 days and then they finally moved us. But that took a lot of complaining and many calls. Staff didn't seem to care at all. It was actually the Sunwing rep who dealt with the room change. Once we got a better view in the new room, things definitely improved. The service I found to be bad, 2.5/5, some people smiled by times, but most of the staff seem disgruntled and unhelpful. I even had people roll their eyes at simple requests. If you asked for anything they were really unhelpful and not happy about it. Further, there felt like an expectation for tips at every moment. The food was 2/5 - the restaurants being the worst of it! In the end, we gave up on them completely and just stuck with the buffet, which you could at least pick through. But much of it was left on our plates. The steak house was laughable, it wasn't steak! The beach is not functional for swimming, 2.5/5 - Strong surf and very rocky, red flag days the whole week - so they try and sell the "Lagoon" which you can enjoy for an hour and is ok. But with little kids and no where to take shade or any umbrellas on that part, its pretty useless for any period of time. The entertainment was not good, 1/5 - much of it is very late, 9:30 start and there is little to nothing for kids at all. At the end of the day, even for adults you were just waiting around looking for something to do after dinner - why drag it out till 9:30? The daytime entertainment at the pool was obnoxiously loud, yelling at people at the pool to play dumb games. I just wanted them to be quiet by day 2. We had to move away from the music which was always on bust and you couldn't escape it. The kids club can only be described as pathetic, 0/5 Completely disinterested staff sitting away at the side and some kids tables with broken old boxes of puzzles. End of. The lazy river was a fun feature we enjoyed a few times, that we liked, 4/5. Otherwise, we enjoyed swimming in warm weather and the resort seems safe and no really 'bad things' happened. But i wouldn't brag about it and definitely wouldn't return!

We stayed at El Beso the adult side. The place is very nice. Rooms are clean and almost everything in working order. Our cleaning lady was fantastic. We found almost every day fresh flowers on the bed or on towels. The pool by our room was quite loud every day .The main lobby is gorgeous.The grounds are well kept. Pools are very nice. Beach is rocky but next to the beach is laguna with clear water and beautiful sand. Food in El Mercado is very good and a lot of choices. The Blue Moon I was disappointed because the menu is not existing and the food was not very good. The other restaurants are good but the menu could changed. The ElBeso restaurant was very good and staff always pleasant and helpful.This place is good for adults and also family with children. Overall the place is great I will visit again.
