Honeymoon in NH Collection Maldives

We arrived at the NH Collection Maldives Resort for our honeymoon at the end of August. During our booking process, we reviewed many hotels, but we chose this one because its house reef is truly outstanding, and based on the reviews, the island's wildlife is also lush and well-maintained. Upon our arrival, we were warmly welcomed with drums, a welcome drink, and necklaces. The organization of inter-island transfers and the transportation of our luggage were provided smoothly and professionally. Their boats were well-equipped and well-maintained. Murooj was assigned as our local coordinator, and looking back, we are very pleased about it. Every day, he ensured that our stay was as perfect as possible. He informed us about all the programs, promptly answered any questions we had, and offered solutions. I believe this added a lot of value to our vacation, so we would like to thank him for this here as well! The island was indeed constantly maintained, full of lush vegetation, and well-organized. It was maintained on a daily basis, which must have been a huge task. Often, when I went out early in the morning, everything had already been freshly cleaned. The rooms were renovated, well-equipped, and spacious. They were cleaned twice a day, and there was great cleanliness everywhere. They pay a lot of attention to being as environmentally conscious as possible while ensuring perfect quality, which I would particularly highlight! They recycle everything, and during our entire stay on the island, we did not encounter a single plastic bottle. The entire staff was incredibly helpful, and I can't think of anyone who stood out negatively, but I would like to highlight Abdur R. Jony in the kitchen, Maikel with his big smile and good mood during service, and Anvy, who showed sincere helpfulness and dedication whenever we met or spoke with him. The island's house reef is indeed wonderful. The most beautiful part is the northern tip and side, where there are many sharks, hard corals, beautiful fish, rays, and one day we even saw a dolphin while snorkeling. We were also lucky with the weather at the end of August, as every day was perfectly sunny, with incredible sunsets. Overall, everything was more beautiful and better than we imagined, and we are grateful for this experience, hoping we can return soon!"

Beautiful Resort with stunning Marine Life

We researched many resorts in the Maldives and are extremely pleased that we chose NH Collection Havodda Resort. The resorts amenities, staff, and activities were all excellent. We stayed in the overwater villa, which was spacious and had a modern feel. The beach and reef surrounding the resort is breathtakingly rich in marine life. From the moment we landed in Malé international airport, we had a NH Collection representative greet us and guide us to the Lounge area. The short domestic flight to Kaadehdhoo Airport was pleasant and well worth it to reach the resort. We were blessed to have Anvy as our villa host. Throughout our whole stay he assisted us with scheduling activities, drove us around the resort, and his hospitality was unbelievably amazing. The staff at the restaurants were friendly and we always enjoyed the rotating food variety and coffees/teas. Throughout our stay we never felt tired of the wide variety of food choices. We would also like to give a big thank you to servers Shawf, Latheef, and Kish for their hospitality and kindness. We also had the opportunity to try the spa service at the resort and massage therapists Grace and Noksen truly are exceptional talents. As well, the resort offers a complimentary photo session and Vishah is a great photographer with lots of talent. Lastly, the resort’s water experiences offer a wide variety of excursions. We were new to snorkeling so we were really grateful to be able to take the introductory class. Our instructor Joel was absolutely amazing and not only helped us get a functional knowledge of snorkeling, but showed us around the house reef. We then had the confidence to do some snorkeling excursions with the resort. Turtle snorkeling was amazing and our guide Naushid was phenomenal. An underwater camera is a must and luckily they offer a go-pro camera rental where we captured some amazing shots and memories. Private snorkeling is also very accessible, just be sure to check with the dive staff what conditions are best, and the resort offers free snorkeling gear + kayak with your stay. I cannot recommend this resort enough and visit again in the future!

Unforgettable honeymoon

Wonderful honeymoon ! Very nice and attentive staff, very great food, very nice spot for diving. The resorts proposes many aquatic activities from kayaking to wakeboarding. The coral reef is splendid for snorkeling. The water villa was amazing, spacious, and the bed very confortable ! I recommend this resort 100% !

Great and healthy house reef, perfect service and super friendly employees. Special thanks also to the great team from the water sports center, the foto studio and our guest manager Murooj. The resorts is worth the long travel into the south! Small room for improvement is the variety on the buffet.
