Official Description

Located in the countryside in the northern part of the island, close to the rainforest and the three central lakes of Bratan, Buyan and Tamblingan. The centre of Bedugul is 7 km from the resort, Singaraja is around 50 km away and Denpasar is approximately 80 km away. Ngurah Rai International Airport is around a 2-hour drive from the resort. Designed in a modern-traditional style by award-winning Balinese architect, Popo Danes. Built in 2008, it offers facilities include a bar and restaurant, Internet access (fees apply), room service, and a laundry service (fees apply). Very spacious with tropical hardwood parquet floors and local artworks which work together to produce a warm interior and feature an en suite bathroom with shower and hand-polished Terrazzo bathtub, as well as a double bed, direct dial telephone, satellite TV, a minibar, tea and coffee making facilities, individually regulated air conditioning and a private terrace. Possibility to arrange guest activities (for a fee), such as tennis, cycling and horse riding, outdoor swimming pool. A Continental breakfast is served each morning and lunch and dinner are available from set menus. It takes two and a half hour drive from Bali International Airport to get to the hotel.

Exquisitely maintained Plantation Resort

Our butler Arik was WONDERFUL! He anticipated our needs and delivered quickly and cheerfully. Highly recommend the resort and especially Arik and the Presidential Villa. Lovely Plantation tour and coffee lesson with tasting. The Plantation focuses on sustainability which I valued. Fascinating variety of plants and beautifully maintained gardens/natural areas.

Had a wonderful stay in the presidential suite. Breathtaking views! Comfy accommodations, good amenities. Plenty of activities right on the plantation, could walk around forever. Love the commitment to sustainability! Arick took great care of us—he was so attentive and friendly! And funny! I will be recommending to all of my friends :)

Best Experience In Bali

Spent 10 days in bali, and our stay at Munduk Moding Plantation was absolutely the best. The villa that we stayed at was spacious, clean, and well decorated, and the view from the private pool was breathtaking. The food was really good and reasonably priced. And what made this resort stand out was it’s schedule of free activities that they provide to their guests to make their experience unforgettable. We did yoga class, bamboo straw making class, stargazing using a telescope, and they took us on a tour to their coffee plantation. Huge thanks to both Putra and Leo, who provided the best service we could ask for, they were always available for us, and always smiling! We will definitely come back, but this time for a longer period!

Aric took very good care of me. Thank you for everything. It is a very nice hotel, the food is great. The pools are great. The sunset is magnificent. The rooms are perfect. It is a place of natural wonder. I fell in love with this place. I definitely recommend it.
