Avoid, Mis-leading

Please do your research, the positive reviews really don’t match this hotel. This hotel is a 3 star at best. Nothing close to it, holiday was £4k for 3 adults & 1 child this is not value for money. Most of the staff are rude, no table service, pools are very very salty! Facilities are tired and dangerous, rooms are a disgrace with ants everywhere including on the beds and on clothes. The food is ok and the drinks are quite good. Rooms were not ready, half the family had to stay 15 min drive away and we had to wait for 2 days for our room to become available, when raising this issue with the manager he almost indicated that I was a liar etc Please see some pictures and don’t be fooled by the positive reviews. I’ve seen other Mitsis hotels and they look stunning compared to this one. The staff openly said they were due a refurb so maybe check this has been done.

A really good beach hotel

We didn’t really know what to expect considering it being our first couples holiday, looking at the photos this place too good to be true however we soon realised it was even better than our expectations, everything from the service to food was 10/10

I stayed in June with two friends and we had an enjoyable stay. Check in was disappointing. No warm welcome, staff were dismissive and rude, our room wasn't ready with no explaining when it would be. However the room was large and clean and suited our needs as three adults. Could have done with an extra chair on the balcony but we managed. Drinks were stocked in the room which was great. Food was lovely, the restaurant had plenty of choice. But it was very busy all of the time. Staff seemed stressed and the door staff made us feel uncomfortable at times when trying to find a table. Plenty of options for snacks around the hotel you just need to navigate where things are as it's vastly spread out. Beach is a bit disappointing, huge queues for drinks. But nice cocktails. All needs a refresh though. A bit scruffy. Pools were nice, busy with limited loungers which are very outdated, cheap. For 5* you expect a lot better quality, they dipped and constantly flipped up. On our last day the lifeguard was putting together tables which was good to see as drinks were constantly knocked over. Concierge services were fantastic. We booked a yacht day and had a picnic made up for us. She was so pleasant and helpful to deal with. We didn't do the evening entertainment it was a bit out the way and preferred the live music in the bar. Staff here were the best every night they remembered our orders and work so hard. Overall would recommend but location is a bit out of the way so personally wouldn't return.

The hotel was absolutely great. We stayed there for 12 days. The staff was very friendly, and polite, always willing to help with a wide smile.I was extremely surprised by the fact that they were so united. The restaurant had a huge variety of foods, which all tasted incredible. I also loved the a la carte restaurants, the greek, the asian and the mexican one, which, in my opinion, was the best! The hotel reminds me of a traditional greek village. I loved the greenery in the hotel, it always gave me a feeling of joy. Pink, yellow, blue, white, red flowers everywhere! Moreover, the sea was stunning. I was spending so much time there and i regret not spending more. I built sand castles and i went swimming to explore the bottom of the sea and the cute little fish. Overall, this is the best hotel I've ever been to and I am looking forward to visiting again! Unforgettable holiday!

Our stay in Rodos Maris was certainly unique. Greek hospitality at its finest. As long as you are polite and courteous people will remember your name, your drink and always great you with a smile regardless of how tired they are or how hot the day is.
