So comfortable

Of course this review is very subjective and says maybe more about the guests then the hotel itself, but here is my honest review about my 11 nights at the Mitsis Norida hotel, the end of October. The hotel, the rooms The resort and the rooms do not necessarily exude luxury, because the furniture and decor are not necessarily timeless. For us personally this was no problem at all. Everything was well maintained and above all very clean. On the other hand, there were many small steps that I was a bit afraid of tripping over. Luckily this didn't happen. First aid / doctor If you need a patch or medical advice, this is easily available. Animation team My mother and I really enjoyed the stretching and yoga sessions from Ella. She in particular put guests at ease and brought such nice vibes. We really adored her <3 She also gave us good tips to discover the island. Reception / concierge Always easily accessible for questions. Most were so friendly and warm with always a genuine smile on their face. Rides to and from reception and rooms If your hotel room was not in the main building, you could be dropped off and picked up at any time. On the other hand, it was also nice to take a mandatory walk every now and then haha. Restaurants Main The food varied greatly. Personally, I didn't like the bread very much, but the soups were delicious. Raw food such as lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, etc. did not taste good. Very strange, but the lettuce was extremely bitter. Too bad, because I normally really like this. I really enjoyed pizza, pasta and fries (which I normally don't eat). The kiwi jam on pancakes was to die for. A La Carte We made reservations for the fish restaurant and Asian restaurant in the week before departure via the app. The fish restaurant was very good, both dishes and service. The Asian restaurant was unfortunately a lot less, but maybe just a bad evening: the rice was very mushy and several courses came at the same time. So a bit messy. The vibe in all the a la carte restaurants (there are three and its under the same roof) is much calmer, the acoustics so much better and of course the view (looking over the sea) is amazing. I recommend that you definitely make a reservation here. Lunch to take away It was possible to get packed lunches when you went on a day trip. It contained a piece of fruit, a drink, a muesli bar, a cake and a sandwich. Please ask a day in advance. Cleaning There was frequent cleaning and mopping, in the hotel itself but also in the rooms every morning. This was really necessary for us, because unfortunately we had a family of ants in the bathroom that returned every day. Bar and outdoor seating area We mainly visited the pool bar. The cocktails here were often quite sweet, but this could also be just us. When we asked this, they made them less sweet for us. We found the staff generally very friendly. Enadri in particular really made an effort to chat with guests and make them feel comfortable, at the same time he worked hard serving everybody and keeping everything clean and tidy. We appreciated him very much. In general the vibe in this hotel was very pleasant and we lacked nothing. Maybe it's not the fanciest place to stay, but we had such a comfortable time, especially because of the hospitality from the staff. We were a little bit sad that the season was over and are already looking forward to our next stay. Thank you so much :)

Just don’t go

This has to be one of the worst all inclusive I’ve ever had to endure for a week. I went with my grandson (11) daughter and son in law as a one off. We love kardamena but I wish I had gone to the apartments in the town like we have done in the past. The hotel was understaffed at every bar/ restaurant and snack bar. The staff were rude beyond belief apart from a couple . The reception staff didn’t want to help. The food was so bad that we never ate breakfast after the first day and ate out down in kardamena every night which was a 12 euro taxi each way which we were more than happy to pay. The beach was lovely and thankfully we could afford to get away from the restaurants on site, but if you’re hoping for a 5 star experience then think again. I’ve stayed in better 3 star. This hotel looks the business but trust me it’s not

Great food, great rooms, great sunbeds with umbrellas, great pools, there are many of them. Every evening different shows, great drinks, great service. You can come to relax with your family. Lots of attractions. Ella and Lucas are the best. See you next season, maybe.

Beautiful holiday

We were with my family at Mitsis Norida, a beautiful place, lots of greenery, beautiful pools, palm trees, tasty food, a large restaurant with a lot to choose from. Spacious, clean rooms. I am positively surprised by this place. Very nice service Eleni, Marcel. We met very nice animators Lucas and Ella. They organized entertainment around the entire hotel for guests, various activities for people of all ages. I highly recommend this hotel.❤️

Good but should have been better

Well the sea view was amazing and cleanliness of the room was 5 star, thank you to the staff that looked after this and the mini bar, the staff in general were superb, just a few grumpy main bar servers, food was good at best but myself and youngest came down with a bout of food poisoning from the Asian restaurant (we shared the ribs) Crepes and pizza on the beach was lovely, not impressed with cleanliness around the pods, noticed a used condom or two, pools very cold, suggest one warm one at least? The beach was great, hand feeding fish, loved the lovely gentleman taking people from beach to top of resort in his beach buggy…… all in all not bad but could have been better
