My third year at this wonderful hotel and yet again it didn’t disappoint. We were allocated a surprise apartment-it was so lovely in a beautiful spot. Spacious and welcoming. I think we can thank Judith on reception for that. The reception staff are very helpful and only too pleased to help. We were welcomed by an Italian man whom remembered our stay before and it was so nice of him to remember us too. The food is varied and well presented - always replenished often, so always fresh. The head waiter was very professional and saw to it that everything ran smoothly. (Juan Jesus) ? It didn’t go unnoticed that he also helped his colleagues when the restaurant became very busy. One thing I must mention is that one of the restaurants is a little on the bright side - just needs a dimmer switch to create a better ambiance in the evenings. The pool area is immaculate and the sun beds too are inviting. We didn’t have any problem in finding sun beds. The entertainment was outside in the evening and was very good. Drinks too were good and not too expensive. All in all the Minura Cala Galdana is probably the most popular in the area. You won’t be disappointed. Fabulous fortnightt in October.

We were blown away by this hotel. From start to finish our visit was perfect. From the check in with the adorable Guillermo to the very attentive bar tender Julio. Oscar in the dining room did a splendid job organising everybody and Yessica and Juan Jesus worked tirelessly and always with a smile. There was always a great choice of food and plenty of it too. The pool and area was great. Our room had recently been refurbished and was kept spotless by the maid. The evening entertainment was very enjoyable and we were lucky enough with the weather that we could watch it outdoors. I advised the hotel in advance that we were celebrating our twentieth wedding anniversary and we were thrilled to receive a lovely hand written note and chocolates on our arrival. The hotel is a two minute walk away from a beautiful beach. We hired a car for the two weeks we were there and as the island is very small we were able to visit lots of places. We loved our stay here and would love to return. The island is very safe and the people are so lovely.

My favourite hotel in Europe. Staff are always taking such a good care of everyone. Food is fantastic, bar staff, pool staff - excellent. Bar staff Miguel- after first night already knew our order. I've noticed that this hotel can make it perfect for everyone- elder people, couples and families with kids, I don't know how they do it but they do! This Oct was my 4th time at this hotel ( first I went with my partner, then 2 times alone - lone girl, and now I brought by partner again). It is becoming a yearly tradition. I've explored Menorca through and through but because of this hotel I want to come back again and again.

Mixed feelings after week in main hotel. GOOD - Room (308) clean and decent size, overlooked pool. Hotel quiet and sleep good. Comfortable bed. Shower good, water always hot. Pool was never over busy and we always got a sun bed. Entertainment was a decent standard of various acts. No charge for water with your meal in the evening. Location good for shops, beach, bus stop. NOT SO GOOD Food never hot enough, had to use microwave for every meal. TV reception mixed, lots of English channels unwatchable or not available. (Watched France 24 news channel - which is in English) POOR Plates not clean, which is unacceptable, had to sort through stack of “clean” plates to find one I could use. Remains of food stuck to plates despite being washed!!! Other people pointing this out to staff - obviously an unresolved problem.

Lovely simple hotel and location and a lovely surrounding area. Food was very nice and some very nice local specialties and staff very friendly and helpful. In particular Juan Jesus Candela who was very helpful and extremely precessional.
