A magnificent hotel, with exemplary staff who have excellent customer service skills. We had a pleasant and romantic stay. This resort is truly beautiful. The pools are stunning, the food is excellent. A place of peace, deeply connected with nature. I highly recommend it.

Words honestly fall short when trying to describe the beauty of Maya Ubud Resort. This is, without a doubt, the most scenic and serene resort I’ve ever stayed in—a true slice of heaven on earth. From the moment we arrived, we were surrounded by impeccable views, lush greenery, and a peaceful energy that felt almost spiritual. The infinity pool overlooking the waterfall genuinely moved me—a moment of quiet beauty that stays with you long after you leave. The spa experience, set beside a flowing river and waterfall, is something that simply can’t be put into words. You have to feel it for yourself to understand just how unique and grounding it is. It’s unlike any spa I’ve ever experienced. The food was outstanding, and the staff were warm, attentive, and thoughtful, making every moment special. Every little detail at this resort is designed with care and it shows. If you're looking for peace, beauty, and a deep connection to nature, Maya Ubud is the place to be. I left feeling calmer, happier, and incredibly grateful for the experience. A special thanks to Gangga, our wonderful butler, who went above and beyond to make our stay seamless and unforgettable. His kindness and attention to detail truly enhanced our experience.

From the moment we arrived at Maya Ubud Resort & Spa on April 6th, 2025, we were swept into a world of peace, elegance, and genuine care. No photo online quite captures the breathtaking beauty of this place like the official website does – but even that can’t fully express the magic of experiencing it in person. We were upgraded upon arrival to one of the finest rooms in the resort, a gesture that set the tone for the entire stay. The room was stunning, fully equipped with everything we could possibly need, and the complimentary refreshments were a warm, thoughtful welcome to this serene oasis. Each morning and evening, we looked forward to dining not just for the food – which was absolutely delicious – but for the incredible breakfast and dinner staff who welcomed us with such warmth. A special thank you to Sadewa, whose kindness, generosity, and ever-present smile made every mealtime feel like a celebration. He truly radiates joy and made such a lasting impression. The butler team were also outstanding – Puspa, Eka, Gangga, Sathya, and Sintya – thank you for your attentiveness and for the most beautiful birthday surprise on our bed after dinner. The care and thought that went into it was deeply moving and completely unexpected. It’s rare to feel so seen and celebrated away from home. We also indulged in our first-ever reflexology treatment during our stay, and it was out of this world. We left feeling completely rejuvenated – but more than that, we felt so genuinely cared for during the entire experience. The resort itself is spotless, with stunning grounds, excellent amenities, and so many activities to enjoy. It's perfectly located – you feel hidden away in a tranquil haven, yet are just a short distance from Ubud centre and all its offerings. Every single member of staff we encountered went above and beyond to make our stay special. We will absolutely be returning to Maya Ubud – it’s a place that stays in your heart long after you leave. Highly, highly recommended.

Stunning food, stunning grounds, perfect staff 10/10 can’t wait to return

This was the best hotel we have been too in a long while, it’s so nicely managed, the staff really make your stay. The e butler service was perfect, we were not sure what we would use it for prior to arriving but they were so helpful in arranging everything for us during our stay, anything we needed they assisted within a matter of minutes. We travelled with my kids, 5year old and a 1 year old and the staff always made such a fuss of them, and made our stay truly memorable. I honestly could not pick any fault with this hotel. In particular my son has a severe wheat allergy and we were quite concerned with its location and food options that may be available for a 5 year old so we packed a bag with his own food in preparation, which was not needed as they always had gluten free options available and made extra effort to accommodate his dietary requirements. The hotel and its grounds are stunning, I could not fault this hotel and would rate it 10/10. You get a luxury wildlife experience, be prepared for lizards and monkeys and other wildlife on your doorstep, the food is fantastic, and plenty of options. We stayed for 2nights and I wish I had stayed for longer.

BLESSED STAY AT MAYA UBUD RESORT & SPA

This resort is just breathtakingly beautiful! The pictures on other websites just don’t do it justice but the official website brings out the true essence and elegance of what this tranquil place is all about! I came on the 4th of April 2025 and stayed for two whole weeks in utter paradise. The grounds, food, accommodation and staff are delightful. Upon arrival we were instantly upgraded to one of the best rooms in the hotel, our room had everything we could possibly need, the complimentary refreshments were just a great touch to welcoming us into this oasis! I looked forward to breakfast and dinner everyday as we always were greeted with the warmest and biggest smile from staff. The fact that the staff greeted you personally and knew my name was just incredible, I really felt at home during my stay and having endless conversations with staff members such as Sumi, Dewi, Putra, Parka & Yoga meant I knew of all the great places to go whilst on my stay. Staff member Sumi recommended a Bike Tour after I mentioned I was going to rent out a bicycle. She helped us book a tour which was one of my top 5 things I have done on my trip so far! Great recommendation! There are so many other staff members who I interacted with that just made this holiday the BEST ever for me! I truly feel so blessed and humbled to of shared this experience at Maya Ubud Resort & Spa. There’s so much going on and to do around the hotel, the Spa on sight is heavenly. I treated myself to a full body massage and it was the finest thing. Loved every moment of it! Thank you so much for looking after me and Sara the whole time we stayed with you, it really has been my home! This is not a good bye but a see you later, as I pray to return back to this glorious island to stay again at my now favorite number 1 resort! Take Care All! God Bless! Nicola
