Maxx Royal Belek Golf Resort

We have just returned from 7 nights at maxx royal over the Christmas period. The service, food and staff were amazing as usual, however the hotel was clearly too busy for the staff to cope. The 24 hour restaurant in particular was so busy at times we were asked to sit at uncleared tables, waited more than 10 minutes for the table to be cleared and another 10 minutes just to order drinks. The staff were under so much pressure as they were being called at every angle ( as this was the only way to be served). On occasions on the rainy days there were no free tables at the bar, kids club was also fully booked most of the day. This is not to take away from the fact that this is an outstanding hotel. I would highly suggest there to be more temporary staff during busy periods to keep up with the maxx royal standard. With that said, we still had an amazing Christmas. The gala was well organised, entertainment was brilliant and as usual the food was great.

Hello i am writing to thank the maxx royal for the best holiday that i spend as always, the maxx royal was always my first choice for the last years everything was very perfect, the food and the service was on the high level more than i expected , a special thanks to the best assistances oussama and Mohammed they was very helpful and available to help me with everything , specially they are speaking frensh which help me alot , thank you again maxx royal and see you soon .

Dates of Stay: 12th December 2024 Purpose: A family holiday with my 10-year-old child Introduction From the moment we arrived at Maxx Royal Belek, the experience was truly exceptional. Check-in was handled with remarkable efficiency and care. The welcome drinks, including chilled beverages and even caviar, immediately set the tone for the luxurious stay ahead. Every member of the team radiated genuine enthusiasm, making it clear that our comfort and happiness were their highest priority. The resort itself is a masterpiece of thoughtful design, blending opulence with a family-friendly atmosphere. Despite visiting in the off-season, there was an evident commitment to maintaining the highest standards, ensuring that every guest felt cherished and valued. Accommodation • Room Type: Twin Suite (land/sea view) • Design & Layout: The suite was a haven of comfort and sophistication. The spacious layout allowed for relaxation, while the tasteful décor provided a sense of understated elegance. The land/sea view was a lovely touch, offering tranquil vistas that enhanced the overall experience. • Comfort: The bedding was outstanding—soft, luxurious, and guaranteed a restful sleep. Every detail, from the linens to the pillows, was meticulously chosen for maximum comfort. The in-room amenities were thoughtfully provided, ensuring that all needs were met. • Housekeeping: The housekeeping team delivered impeccable service. Not only was the room kept spotless, but the attention to detail, such as the careful arrangement of personal items and thoughtful evening turndown service, added a sense of luxury and care. Dining Experience Dining at Maxx Royal Belek was a culinary journey of the highest calibre. • Buffet: The buffet exceeded all expectations with its remarkable variety and quality. Every dish was beautifully presented, and the flavours were consistently impressive. From freshly baked pastries and vibrant salads to expertly prepared mains and decadent desserts, every meal was a feast. The service was equally impeccable, with attentive staff ensuring a smooth and enjoyable dining experience. • Royal Villa Golf Club Breakfast: This was one of the highlights of our stay. The breakfast experience at the Royal Villa Golf Club was absolutely outstanding. The service was flawless, delivered with precision and warmth, making us feel truly pampered. The building itself was an architectural marvel, radiating luxurious class and sophistication. For golf enthusiasts, this setting would be a dream come true. The surrounding grounds were immaculate, maintained to perfection, with lush greens and breathtaking views that spoke to the resort’s dedication to excellence. • À la Carte Steakhouse: The steakhouse offered an incredible dining experience. The quality of the meat was superb, perfectly prepared, and beautifully presented. The service was top-class, with every detail meticulously attended to, making it an unforgettable meal. • À la Carte Teppanyaki: This restaurant deserves special mention. It combined theatrical culinary flair with exquisite flavours, offering a dining experience that was both entertaining and delicious. This is undoubtedly a must-visit for any guest. • Bars: The bars throughout the resort offered an excellent selection of beverages. While I don’t consume alcohol, the non-alcoholic options were exceptional. The piña colada mocktail, in particular, was a standout, crafted to perfection and one of the finest I have ever tasted. Pools & Beach • Pools: The pools at Maxx Royal Belek are the best I’ve experienced in any Turkish resort to date. The indoor heated pool provided a tranquil escape, perfect for the winter season. The outdoor pools were beautifully designed, offering a luxurious setting with the added benefit of soft sand surrounding them. This unique touch gives the feeling of being at the beach while enjoying the safety and cleanliness of a pool—perfect for weak swimmers and children. It’s a thoughtful design that showcases the resort’s dedication to guest comfort. • Beach: The resort’s private beach is a true gem. With its soft, golden sand and pristine waters, it provided a serene retreat. The addition of water sports ensured there was something for everyone, from relaxation to adventure. Entertainment & Activities • Kids’ Arcade: The kids’ arcade is, without a doubt, the best I have ever encountered. It features laser tag, cutting-edge VR experiences, a wide selection of arcade games, and a top-class bowling alley. These facilities are meticulously maintained and provide endless fun for both children and adults. • Kids Club: The kids’ club offered a variety of activities that kept my son happily engaged. The staff were friendly, warm, and attentive. While I noted they don’t assist with medication or meal provisions, these are friendly suggestions that could make the experience even more seamless for families with specific needs. • Dino Land: Dino Land was a revelation! This adventurous obstacle course was an absolute delight and became a highlight of our trip. My son thoroughly enjoyed it, and I must commend Tercan Usal for his patience and encouragement in guiding him through the course. His professionalism and warmth truly stood out. • Sports Facilities: The resort’s sports facilities were nothing short of world-class. The tennis courts, basketball courts, and paddleball areas were all immaculately maintained, providing the perfect space for recreation. Each facility was equipped to the highest standard, offering an exceptional experience for those looking to stay active during their holiday. • Evening Entertainment: While the evening entertainment featured high-quality live music and DJ performances, expanding the winter programme with family-friendly shows such as magic acts, acrobatics, or theatrical performances could add an extra layer of excitement for families. Spa & Wellness The spa and wellness facilities were nothing short of world-class. • Facilities: From the serene hammam to the meticulously maintained saunas and steam rooms, every aspect of the spa was designed to promote relaxation and rejuvenation. The gym was equally impressive, featuring state-of-the-art equipment to cater to all fitness levels. • Service: The staff at the spa were outstanding, with their professionalism and warm demeanour adding to the overall experience. Special thanks to the lady at the Vitamin Bar, whose delightful service and refreshing beverages enhanced our visits to the wellness area. Our Maxx Assistants, Mehriban Jamalova and Aleksandra Nazarkina, were nothing short of exceptional. Their professionalism, attentiveness, and ability to anticipate and fulfil our needs were unparalleled. No request was too big or too small; everything was handled with efficiency, warmth, and genuine care. Exclusive Features The Maxx Royal Departure Lounge, located in Antalya Airport, deserves special mention as the perfect finishing touch to an incredible stay. It is the epitome of luxury, providing a serene and elegant space for guests to relax before their journey home. Conclusion Maxx Royal Belek is not just a resort—it is an experience. The bar has truly been set for me to find a worthy competitor as I continue my search for the finest resorts. Would I return? Absolutely. I would like to take a moment to express my complete satisfaction following my stay at the Maxx Royal in Belek. During this week, Derya Semerci made our experience at the bar truly exceptional. She prepared delicious cocktails, perfectly tailored to our tastes, with remarkable attention to detail and professionalism. Her cheerful attitude, natural charm, and radiant energy brightened our evenings and made every moment at the bar even more enjoyable. I sincerely wanted to congratulate her for her outstanding work and thank you, as her manager, for the quality of your team. Derya is a true ambassador of the excellent service provided at the Maxx Royal, and I am certain she will continue to delight many more guests.

Unfortunately the buffet allergens are not correctly labelled. For example one of the rolls and ice cream (from movenpick) did not have egg allergy labelled, we later found out they have egg in the product when it was discussed with the chef. I discussed this with general manager in the buffet restaurant who didn’t seem overly interested and at the end of our week stay the item was still not labelled correctly. It’s shocking that they don’t take this serious enough to rectify straight away. I would like to thank all staff at the 24 hour restaurant, they were all fantastic throughout our stay. Overall, on reflection I think the hotel is slightly overpriced. Last year we stayed at cullinan for 1k less total which was better value for money.
