Amazing service to brighten a rainy week!

Two Adults and a 12 year old. Wonderful 7 days in Marti Resort and we were sad to leave. There are so many plus points to Marti : the fantastic hotel staff (see below), the breathtaking views of the sea (clean beach and clear water), clean rooms, seating areas and everywhere in the hotel grounds, the stunning spread of delicious food including the freshest salads and impressive cakes and desserts, snacks and drinks almost round the clock (we arrived close to midnight and were welcomed to enjoy soups with bread and salads until 1am), the impressive 5 outdoor pools and indoor pool with sauna, a barber/hairdresser with a sense of humour, lively entertainment every evening very inclusive for the whole family. (with the delightful duo Cemal the best pianist and Ezgi the best flautist in the whole of Turkey IMHO - they took our breath away with their performances every night) We thoroughly enjoyed the amazing Ethiopian Acrobats show too. To top it all, the service by Marti hotel staff was impeccable: especially the thoughtful Sevim who always greeted us with her heartwarming personality at the Pattiserie everyday. Sevim made us feel right at home, not only serving us snacks, but asking us about our day and made a strawberry milkshake specially for our child; these are the special touches that make our holiday experience even more memorable. The lovely lady at front desk (sorry we didn’t get your name!) helped us with our day trips including printing out the bus timetable to Turunc. Sabir, who took the time to chat with us, Ramazan, served us breakfast every morning, Ahmet, the friendly cat lover, introduced us to Zeytin the black cat. Ardal the manager greeted us every day from the moment we arrived, problem-solved everything including changing our room for us seamlessly, made our holiday perfect from start to end; 20 years he’s been working in Marti and we hope to meet you again next time we’re there.

Absolutely amazing!!! So much fun, so clean, great staff, great food and amazing range, Esra was amazing at Including everyone during an evening dance, was so inclusive and so fun!!! Amazing time :) no complaints!!! The rooms were so clean and well looked after and this place is great if you love cats, they’re everywhere in icmeler!!

Diabolical food.

Everything about the resort is 4 star at least, but the FOOD IS DIRE. The staff, the bedroom, although dated is superb. The location and the panoramic views are stunning. But the food! For a supposedly 4 star establishment, it is dire. I have stayed in 2/3 star hotels all over Turkey. The food is generally cold, the management will tell you, that it has its temperature taken prior to it going to the pass. Let me tell you, the thermometer must be broken. In ten days and nights, the only things that found warm, was the soup & occasionally the pizza. According to the staff that I spoke to, there is a new chef this year, let me give the management some advice, sack him. If the staff thinks that the food is dire, having been there for several years, then there is a problem. I would love to return, but one star food, at best, deters me, big time.

Esra is such a wonderful and cheerful person with a big, warm smile! She really brought so much joy to our game night and was incredibly helpful. We’re also really thankful that she speaks English—it made everything a breeze! The staff is super friendly and always checks in to see if we need anything. The place is immaculately clean, open 24/7, and absolutely gorgeous!
