Marmaris Bay Resort

Looking forward to our 7th visit to this wonderful slice of paradise. Nestled on the hillside surrounded by pine trees, and flora, along with two private beaches, The Marmaris Bay Resort offers its guests the opportunity to relax in an absolutely stunning location. The hotel caters for those who wish to simply enjoy some down time and peace, which can be found simply by walking in the grounds, enjoying the weather by the ‘relax pool’, or perhaps a visit to the onsite Spa. For visitors who look for a little more from their break, The Marmaris Bay Resort hosts an array of activities located alongside their second pool, and around the hotel. Previous events have included Darts, Water Polo, Water Aerobics and Dance, Pool Party, Archery and much more. The bustling town of Marmaris itself can be found 8k down the road, and is easily accessible via taxi, bus or water taxi. Please ignore the end of last season’s bad reviews. The company running the hotel was in administration and there were difficulties which as a guest who experienced these I do acknowledge. The hotel has since been taken over by its owner, and we have been assured all issues have been rectified, along with exciting new changes. I have every faith that the hotel is on the up and will have a fantastic 2025 season. We will be returning in June and absolutely cannot wait. Please do not let previous bad reviews put you off listing out on this little gem.

6th Visit since 2022 absolutely love it here while we accept there were some problems with the management company this time and the standards not being up to previous we still had a fantastic time. The staff despite being overworked all looked after us and did their best to ensure we had a great time. We have now found out that the owner has taken over management and installed a new management team to run the hotel. We have spoken to members of the team and have been assured that this year there will be big improvements over last year we will be going back in June and are really looking forward to a great visit again

it was an incredible stay!!! we went with tui, my mum had been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s So i wanted to make some nice memories while we still could we went with my niece. i had spend hours, day, weeks researching for the perfect place for us to stay. i was incredibly drawn to this place because it looked so beautiful in the pictures, it exceeded all my expectations and more the staff were lovely Natalie was out tui rep and she went above and beyond to make us comfortable and all our needs were met to a high standards even coming to see us out of work hours i can’t thank her enough for helping me with mum also. i got my hair done at the salon by a lovely friendly helpful lady we obviously treated ourselves to a turkish bath both in and outside the resort both 10/10 the lady promoting the spa was so friendly and lovely to talk to there was a guy that made the most incredible ice coffee’s on the beach. my mum had a soft spot for the hotel entertainment Bobby he was absolutely brilliant with her thank you Bobby. we did boat trips shopping trips we definitely made the most of our holiday and everything was 10/10 the location was pure paradise on earth and i’m really looking forward to coming back for a solo vacation in october 2025 everyone made me feel so comfortable can’t wait to go back 😁

Lovely resort, set amongst pine trees, on opposite side of bay to Marmaris, across from marina. Fantastic quiet location. Set out as small blocks of 4 units dotted anongst the trees, in extensive grounds, it creates a lovely woodland environment. Food was great, always a good selection at breakfast, lunch & dinner. Multinational clientele: Brits, Germans & Turkish make up the bulk but probably some others in there too. Great location if you just want to chill & soak up the sun. Marmaris is about 15 mins by minibus (1 euro) or 30mins by water taxi. Positives: - Rooms great - Food good - Staff are nice and very helpful (particular mention to Diyar on the beach bar who worked hard every day) - No annoying wristbands! Site is pretty secure so no need for them thankfully. - Free beach towels, can be changed daily. - Birthday bottle of wine & fruit left for partner in room, which was a nice touch (mention to guest services if it's your birthday or special occasion) Points for improvement (there weren't any real negatives): - Cocktails can vary a lot depending on who's making them - staff could do with some training to be consistent. Draught beer was good though, rose & wine very drinkable though. - Beach gets a bit of litter washed up, nothing major but surprised staff arent tasked to clean it. So just cleared our own immediate area each day, of little bits of plastic that had washed up. - Spoons .. what's going on here?!! Always seemed to be a severe shortage of spoons in main restaurant! - Music around main pool can get a bit dubious at times when entertainment crew get their hands on it (think sweary gangsta rap!). But the morning chill out vibes were great. All minor points for improvement, and wouldn't prevent us going back at some point in future. For the price paid, very happy with the quality & value (just under £1k ea inc flights, with Jet2) .

The previous review I left spelt out how poor this hotel is, poor food rubbish wine, running out of beer, gin, tonic, ice, poor room cleaning standards, no air con anywhere except in you rooms, barely any english speaking staff, do I really need to go on and tui still sell this hotel to their loyal customers knowing full well that the standards here are very poor. Think carefully before booking here !!! Steve T
