Amazing hotel and staff ☺️

30 Sep 2024
Firstly the hotel itself is spotlessly clean and the staff are all very friendly and very helpful! Big thank to the security lady on the gate who was lovely! The food was nice with plenty of choice but fussy eaters may be limited.....access to the sister hotel was such an added bonus as there is so much to do there especially if you have children ...we did prefer our hotel though as it was much quieter...the shops and markets near by also was great with plenty of bargins to buy! We would like to say a big thank you to Arif and Alex in the hotel shop who made our holiday extra special and was so kind to us all !! All in all what a fab holiday we had! Thank you everyone at Lonicera Premium 🇹🇷☺️

Food a massive let down

30 Sep 2024
It was our first trip to Turkey! Yes, the transfer is long but we was not put off as it was expected and the 15min stop off was essential when you need the toilet. Pros: Hotel - was absolutely beautiful and smelt amazing. Staff were very friendly. Room - was spacious and kept clean - downside coffee was not topped up everyday in our room. However, throughout the hotel/grounds you can grab a coffee anytime. Pool and beach - areas are kept immaculate. We never had a problem with getting a sunbed in any of the areas. Bar staff - are lovely and friendly. Drinks were great but cocktails are syrup based but still pleasant. Snack bar - looked after us very well. Patisserie area - wonderful and ice-cream is lovely. Shopping/market area outside hotel was OK and shop staff quite friendly. Animation was pretty good but the guy who introduces the acts can overpower the evening and has his own lingo that no-one understood? Cons Food in Restaurant - was very poor, lukewarm or even cold! The desserts look wonderful but dont taste of anything...very bland. We spoke to 4 other parties and they all felt the same. It was lucky the food at the snack bar was lovely for lunch. Choices are a let down and don't understand why soup is a choice for breakfast? I think they need to go back to the drawing board with their food choices and add flavour in the desserts. Pool staff - were rude and ignored us the whole time we were there despite our efforts to engage with them. However, they made a point of welcoming other nationalities. The guy who is leading the pool games needs to reevaluate what languages he would like to speak in... as no nationality was keeping up with him and it felt he was trying to overpower everything rather than enjoying the people taking part in the games! Maybe he could tone it down a notch and focus on others. Sadly, we would not return even thou the hotel and its facilities were wonderful. It sadly does not cater enough for English visitors.

Great hotel shame about the transfer

30 Sep 2024
I want to say a massive thank you to the Staff from our lovely lady who cleaned our room daily to the restaurant/ bar staff . The hotel is exceptionally clean . Great selection of food & cocktails/ spirits etc. Loved the Good morning from the pool activity staff, always something to do pool volleyball etc even dropped spin bikes into the pool for a session . Entertainment at 9pm was a little poor we preferred to stay in the lobby area & listen to the pianist etc. Didn’t realise you could use all the pools etc in the sister hotel next door if you have kids definitely have a visit even has a zoo. My only negative is the transfer that was horrendous & for this reason we won’t be back . We had to wait 30 minutes for the last couple to get into the minibus ( only 3 couples!) then we were told we would be stopping at a market for 15 mins which was actually nearer 30 mins altogether I think our transfer was over 3 hours to the hotel which is pretty naff when it’s 2 am arrival & the driver stops to pick his grandson up too of course we were the last stop . Not many English speaking staff so sometimes difficult to ask a question. ADVICE book a private transfer . Not a place you could go for a stroll on an evening loads of shops selling the same but if you want a nice walk personally book somewhere else if your after a n amazing hotel & want to just chill this is your place . Walls are thin between the rooms though. Towels provided daily & you also get a welcome beach bag in your room. pool was lovely especially when we had 37deg every day . Also a tip just take euros we took Lira & some left over euros from last holiday & everywhere we went to preferred the euros. Can’t fault the hotel at all.

Great hotel - British family review

31 Jul 2024
Just returned from Lonicera premium having spent a week there with 2 adults and 4 kids. We are a British family and travelled with Jet2. Hotel - the hotel is really clean and the staff are great. There are many different nationality guests when we visited and some of the staff didn't understand English too well. We found ordering food at the snack bar frustrating as our orders were often wrong or didn't come at all despite actually pointing out the food on the menu to them. This was in the minority though. We arrived late at night, around 2am and the staff were expecting us. We got offered some food and they upgraded our room to a family room which was fantastic. On a few occasions the staff were complaining to me that they didn't receive tips. I tried to explain, as an all inclusive resort, it's unlikely people are walking around with cash in their pockets. Still, I found this unusual. Food - loads of options and themed nights. I have two extremely fussy kids who struggled to eat. They don't appear to cater for the British too well. But to be fair we were in the minority. Adults done ok though. Plenty of options if you are willing to try different things. Plenty of salad and veg etc... the desserts looked amazing but not really out thing. There was fruit available too. During the day. The snack bar was the best for our fussy eaters. There is ice cream available all day and water melon/ melon to help yourself too. Drink - Efes on tap, plenty of cocktails, very generous. Wine was also available. Kids slush and cocktails. The fridges were well stocked with bottled water and you can help yourself 24/7 to bottled water throughout the hotel. Entertainment - we thought it was brilliant. Some nights were a bit poor with bingo dragging on two hours but we also had a Rave, foam party, street dancers, Turkish dancing, magic show and stunt show. The downside which is not the hotels fault was the heat and humidity. It was borderline unbearable for me. I would recommend taking handheld electric fans. One night in July was 36 degrees and 9pm with no breeze. Awful when you have been in the sun all day, showered and changed into nice evening clothes. Kids club wasn't great. I wouldn't expect much from this facility and is aimed at younger children. It was empty most days. We found ourselves on a night watching the entertainment and heading inside under air conditioning, playing cards and having good family time without devices. Beach - there is a nice little private beach at the bottom of the hotel. We only spent a few hours there. It was a bit rocky but the sea was amazing to swim in. Pools - there was 3 pools. One large pool, a mini water park for younger children and 3 slides for bigger kids. Our 4 kids spent 6 days in these pools and never moaned once. We would be there 10am til 6pm and I'd have to drag them out. Lonicera world hotel - there is access to the other hotel over the road with a larger water park and more entertainment, amusements, pools, bowling etc .. bit there was a lot more to spend money on. I personally found the place a bit too full on. There was many guests there and felt overcrowded and overwhelming with 4 kids. We much preferred the lonicera premium. What is near by? - plenty of shops, bags, footy kits, clothes and shoes. Not many restaurants. There was a fun little karaoke bar which we went too one night. Other - WiFi was free and decent but found it only allows so many devices to connect per room. They provide towels and most days it was a struggle to get 3 or 4 sunbeds together unless your one of 'those' who gets up early to put one down. Overall I personally wouldn't come back. But that is purely down personal circumstances. My kids wouldn't eat the food, it was too hot on a night and I like to visit different places. But don't let that put you off. We had an amazing time and don't regret going at all!

Family Holiday

31 May 2024
Absolutely stunning hotel, and beautifully located. We were wowed from the moment we stepped into the lobby. Rooms are a brilliant size, especially for families, with lots of storage space! The only downside to our room was that the bathroom walls were paper thin and you could hear absolutely everything going on in the bathroom next door. Lobby was stunning and smelt amazing. There were also so many seating areas to choose from. Drinks were fab and the staff were extremely helpful. The all inclusive food was good, but does get repetitive after a while but I find this everywhere :) Pools were beautiful, and one of the factors that made us choose this hotel! Unfortunately when we came though, despite the beautiful weather, all of the pools were absolutely freezing cold! Our water loving toddler made it into the pool just once for the whole duration of our holiday, and even then it was for just 5 minutes. I’m not sure if this was due to it being slightly out of season, but this definitely did impact our holiday as we do usually spend a lot of time in and around the pool. There were plenty of sunbeds around the pool, and I absolutely loved the double sunbeds which were perfect for families. Evening entertainment was fantastic! Loved that we could use the other Lonicera hotels, the soft play was a great addition for our little one! Local area… this was a big factor for us and probably the main reason that we won’t be returning. Despite the wonderful hotel and grounds, the local area was tiny and we could walk around it entirely in 15 minutes. We walked for miles each way down the main road but there was nothing. This is great if you like a quiet resort type holiday, but if you like to have the option of bars, restaurants and shops you may want to consider staying elsewhere. Despite this, we had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend this hotel to couples and families that would like a quiet and peaceful stay!
