Great hotel

Had a great time, were a few niggles about the hotel in general, but overall was a good experience. The food (and drinks) here are great! Probably the best offering we have experienced. Its an all inclusive hotel. Sooo much variety at breakfast and a decent variety for lunch and dinner with a rotation of dishes every day of the week, plus a grill outside. The main restairant/canteen is quite nice and you can sit outside. Favourites included the barbecue chicken and grilled fish. There are a few places to sit and eat or drink. including a coffee bar and desert canteen outside near the warm pool. You can have ice cream, decent coffee and cakes between meals if you skipped lunch or just fancy a slice of cake. There is also a Turkish restaurant which you can enjoy once on your holiday inclusive, we enjoyed our meal there, a really different experience. The resort is quite big, however a few things were not available like the ampitheatre, and there was no kids animation to speak of. Generally the animation here is fairly lacking, but the evening shows are actually quite funny, we really enjoyed the Michael Jackson show. We found the drag queen show a little bit too weird though, especially the kids, we had to leave early for that. One of the key features of the hotel is that it sits on the beach, so our routine was always to head to the beach in the morning. Sadly there were jellyfish every single day. Luckily though there are quite a few pools to choose from, in April the water is freezing cold, however there is a warm pool at the top. Even with the freezing water though, the lower pools are fabulous, we still braved it and enjoyed a few days just lounging by the big pools and enjoying the slides when they were open (which is around 2 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the afternoon). The rooms were cleaned daily, bathroom could have been a bit more modern and deep cleaned though! But otherwise the standard of cleanliness in the hotel generally is pretty high. Staff are more or less friendly. I have to be honest though and say I think there may be a couple of rotten apples in this picnic. One older male waiter in particular would often just casually ignore us and walk by when we were waiting for service, often inconveniencing us to call over different staff. Generally though, the younger staff were quick, friendly and on the ball. The location is great, we went on a lot of great excursions organised by reps in the reception and had a fantastic eye-opening experience in Turkey,

Brilliant stay

We stayed over Christmas and New years celebrations. We weren't expecting much to be put on for the celebrations but Liberty Lara put on entertainment that was superb. We've enjoyed staying here and will come again. The food is varied to please everyone's taste, there's always something to enjoy. If you've a sweet tooth well you'll love it here. Pools, amenities ,tennis, play area etc are first class. There's so much space. Staff are what makes the hotel extra special. They are all wonderful. Maybe some of the rooms are getting close to needing a refurb but that's apparently happening later in year. A shout to the cleaners and gardeners the whole place is spotless and looked after. Thank you Liberty Lara for a brilliant stay

A very friendly hotel with attentive staff in all departments, especially the waiters and waitresses in the buffet Myra restaurant. The new year party and shows were amazing. We have had a fabulous time due to all the staff and hope to come back soon

Lacking in some things

The room was bit outdated and needed attention this is our second visit this year. The foods was scceptable the hotel ihas excellent people and the staff iare very good. There are places in the hotel which need uprating. The main complaint we and other customers complained of was lack of entertainment in the day time.due to the bad weather it became a mundane day. The guest relations guys are very good and obliging. Would I stay here again ?.
