We booked a room called "VILLA terrace view" on Agoda. The photo showed a private dome villa and the price was appropriate for a dome villa. When we checked in to the hotel, they showed us our room and it turned out to be a regular room (NOT A VILLA!) with a shared pool. It was an important date for us and we wanted to stay in a villa with a private pool (which is what we booked!). The staff just said they couldn't refund the money. We were ready to pay extra for a suite or a large villa, but the staff said that everything was booked. We were for about an hour at the reception and tried to solve the problem through Agoda support, while the staff did not ask us if everything was ok. The staff didn't even apologize for the wrong photos. I was very upset, because we had to leave and they didn't even refund our money. I had no way of knowing in advance that their photo was wrong, because there was a photo of a dome VILLA and it also said "TERRACE", and this villa also has a terrace. So we had to leave and rent another hotel. Agoda support admitted that the hotel was showing the wrong photos, but they still haven't refunded our money. I will change this review as soon as i get my money back ( 13.319,58 bath for 2 nights)
