I’ve been well traveled and some been good some bad This hotel is in the category of bad It’s butlins in Greece It’s only got a 5 star 🌟 Because of the facilities there which ticks the 5* star box and that’s why it’s graded a 5* and they can charge that that price There is nothing around this remote hotel only a small town with a few bars and restaurants There is no tradition here at all a resort that is so big and expensive you pay for everything Not being stingey or nothing But paid enough for the holiday And a extra 70 euros for the tax wouldn’t mind if it was a 5* but it’s only a 3* The flumes stop at 1 and re start at 3 god nos why it’s a holiday never heard of that anywhere need more recruiting on the lifeguard situation to stay open as they said it’s there dinner break 3 hour lunch break wow The pool area is filthy along with all the sunbeds at the flume pool Best pool area in the hotel is the one with the dolphin on the bottom If there is a ..best and if you can get a sunbed …sunbeds all reserved with towels over them The beach is the same thing towels just left on the beds Again no bars near any thing apart from the slide bar Just saw 4 bars in the whole complex And it is a big complex The poor cow who cleans the rooms she is doing loads n loads of cleaning in the whole blocks in 35 deg heat and I’m sure for a small wage would you bother .. the. hotel don’t seem to be Can’t prob get anyone else to do the donkey work so some rooms go to pot No clean bedding at all the whole week we was there No floors wiped sand on the floors every day so was treading it in the bed so going into the bed at night full of sand Which is annoying No restock on coffee and milk had to stock it up from the dining room every day .. but there was fresh towels put in the bathroom every day which I’ve heard is a hit and miss as well from others someone didn’t get there towels changed for 1 week And as the week goes on it’s noticed how crap it is here and dirty Mosquito heaven they was feeding off everyone in this complex everyone was walking around with big red blotches and pimples on there body Some even having 60 In one night …so all the jungle spray run out in the shops a friends daughter had to go to the GP cos mosquito bite on her eye had swollen the whole face This complex really needs to recruit more staff if it’s going to survive IMO The cleaning staff needs more attention The toilets by the slide pool…. Need a clean so don’t even go in there without some kind of shoe on it’s wet everywhere . There is one bar open at the amphitheater which is were the entertainment goes on evening times Again don’t bother it’s rubbish Saw the same thing night after night which was quizzes or games so we ended up leaving twice I saw grease dancing acts done by the entertainment team and blues brothers dancing same thing Tuesday and a Thursday We’re is all the others bars for god sake it’s massive here can’t rely on one bar at the beach bar The dinner room Well Everyone walking around in chaos as No tables available waiting for staff to put cutlery down on a table and clean it food ..was just standard all inc Just got on with it tbh There is no snack bar or a bar on the beach so walking to the complex to get a drink or food is annoying there is only one snack bar open at the slide pool and a good walk to the beach and back Sorry but it’s a No thanks …not my idea of a holiday Sorry but it’s my honest opinion Been to much better holiday resorts And more organised So I would not return or recommend

Where do I even start? Sandy Beach Hotel Resort in Corfu is, without a doubt, the worst hotel I have ever had the misfortune to stay in. The place is a complete and utter dump. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that we were in for a nightmare of a holiday. First, the state of the hotel: it looked like it hadn't been cleaned or maintained since the 80s. The carpets were stained, the walls were peeling, and the entire place had a musty odour that hit you in the face as soon as you walked through the door. But it gets worse. Much worse. The pool? Disgusting. It was more like a swamp than a pool. There was actual human faeces floating in it. Yes, you read that right: faeces in the pool. And not just once. We complained to the staff, but they couldn't have cared less. Speaking of the staff, I've never encountered such rudeness in my life. Every interaction felt like we were bothering them. No smiles, no help, no basic decency. They were arrogant, dismissive, and made it clear they had zero interest in making anyone's stay pleasant. The food was absolutely inedible. Cold, bland, and served with a side of what I can only describe as pure disdain. Every meal was a gamble that ended in either a trip to the local takeaway or hours spent with food poisoning symptoms. I wouldn't serve that slop to my worst enemy. Housekeeping was non-existent. Our sheets weren’t changed once in 10 days. TEN DAYS. We practically had to beg for fresh towels, which were delivered with a scowl and an eye roll. It felt like staying in a filthy dormitory rather than a resort. The room itself was no better—filthy, outdated, and crawling with insects. I’m convinced the mattress was older than I am, and the pillows were as flat as the service. This was supposed to be a relaxing holiday, but instead, it turned into a daily battle against filth, rudeness, and incompetence. The Sandy Beach Hotel Resort ruined what should have been a great time in Corfu. Do yourself a favour and stay anywhere else. A tent in the local dump would be a more pleasant experience than this absolute disgrace of a “resort.” Avoid at all costs! I have given it 1 star as you can't give it minus.

I booked a back neck and shoulder massage at the aegeo spa and it was such a great experience. My therapist Chara did a really good job, i felt really really comfortable and relaxed. Would recommend it to anybody who wants to calm down and chill:)

Overall a lovely holiday

We booked a family holiday a year in advance. When we arrived one room was in the 6000 Block and the room on end with a terrible no view (not what you want on a holiday) and an extra single fold up bed not suitable for a 3rd adult. I immediately asked for my room to be changed and the next day we were put in a lovely room overlooking the pool, so I was very grateful. Unfortunately our pillows were very hard, I didn’t want to complain again so just left that. I understand it’s a large resort and really beautiful but felt our room was not cleaned thoroughly.
